- Haeundae Blueline Park - Mipo Station - Stretching 4.8 kilometers, Haeundae Blue Line Park runs from Haeundae Mipo, through Cheongsapo, to Songjeong. This park revitalizes an old railway track, now a scenic coastal train route. Visitors can ride in a pastel-colored capsule, a four-seater pod that floats 7 to 10 meters above the ground, offering an elevated view. Its whimsical design and leisurely pace make it popular with couples and Instagram enthusiasts—capture enchanting photos of the Sky Capsule train as it meanders along the cliffs.
- Haeundae Blue Line Park - Enjoy time to explore and have lunch at your own expense around the Cheongsapo or Mipo areas.
- Gyeongju - At 1:00 PM, the group will leave Busan and head to Gyeongju after lunch.
- Bulguksa Temple - A masterpiece of Silla-era Buddhist architecture, Bulguksa Temple is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and one of Korea’s most esteemed temples. Originally constructed in the 8th century, the temple complex exhibits a stunning architectural harmony between nature and design. Visitors can admire iconic structures like the Dabotap and Seokgatap pagodas, and intricate stone staircases symbolizing the path to enlightenment. Nestled among pine forests and lotus ponds, Bulguksa offers spiritual tranquility and timeless beauty.
- Gyeongju Historic Area - In 2000, UNESCO designated South Korea’s Gyeongju Historic Areas as a World Heritage Site. These areas preserve remnants of temples, palaces, outdoor pagodas, statues, and numerous other cultural relics from the Silla Kingdom. Often described as one of the world’s most extensive outdoor museums, they provide a unique glimpse into ancient history. The group will visit sites including Daereungwon, Hwangnidan-gil, and have dinner at their own expense in the area.
- Daereungwon Tomb Complex - Known as the Park of Royal Tombs, Daereungwon is a complex with 23 tombs from the Silla Dynasty. Among the tombs of significant historical value, Cheonmachong (Tomb of the Heavenly Horse), where the interior is open to the public, stands out as one of the most symbolic sites. Adjacent to Daereungwon is the renowned Hwangnidan Street, showcasing the modern side of Gyeongju with various street foods and trendy cafes.
- Hwangnidan-gil - Next to Daereungwon, Hwangnidan Street is a popular destination that merges Gyeongju’s ancient allure with contemporary style. Enjoy gourmet street food, savor specialty coffee in hanok cafés, or shop for handmade souvenirs in this chic yet historic street.
- Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond - Donggung & Wolji: Initially built in 674, this artificial pond in Gyeongju National Park is rich with historical memories. In 1972, the Korean government temporarily drained the pond, uncovering thousands of Silla artifacts that had either fallen into the lake or were intentionally placed there.
