Established in the 7th century during the Baekje Kingdom, Naejangsa is among North Jeolla’s most celebrated temples. As you journey through the park, encounter picturesque waterfalls like Dodeukpokpo and Geumseonpokpo—legendary sites where gods are said to have bathed—while strolling amidst diverse flora and watching for the park’s rare and endangered wildlife.
Naejangsan Park spans the provinces of Jeollabuk-do and Jeollanam-do in South Korea. It was designated as the 8th national park in 1971 and is named after the 763-meter Naejangsan Mountain. The park boasts a total of 919 plant species and 1,880 animal species, including 12 endangered animals.
