“ Respect, Purity, Harmony, and Tranquility” - Midori was an amazing hostess explaining the history and philosophy behind holding a proper tea ceremony. She patiently and gracefully showed us how a tea ceremony is performed and we learned each step of the ritual from beginning to end. This is definitely a “once in a lifetime” experience. It was filled with respect, purity, harmony, and tranquility.

Wonderful experience - It was a relaxing and friendly experience. Yoko is a smiling mistress of ceremonies taking the time to explain the gestures. We enjoyed observing the gestures and then performing them. Many thanks for this wonderful memory.

fun and informative - Yoko was absolutely lovely- so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. My friend and I arrived later due to unexpected circumstances and she was completely understanding. It was a lovely, relaxing ceremony and she taught about its history and gave us some tea and sweet treats. Would highly recommend!
