Subsequently, participants will practice fundamental punches, blocks, and kicks while maintaining a proper stance. Each technique will be broken down into several steps to ensure all participants can learn progressively.
Finally, the essence of kumite (sparring) training will be introduced without physical contact, allowing everyone to practice safely without injury risk. The instructor will provide guidance on defending against attacks such as punches, front kicks, and low kicks, offering tips for maximum precision and efficiency.
The host, Ryo, emphasizes teaching the core principles of karate through clear explanations and demonstrations of various techniques. This experience offers the opportunity to explore the core of karate, an ancient martial art that enhances physical health and boosts self-confidence for its practitioners.
Before delving into fundamental karate techniques such as punches, kicks, and blocks, participants will engage in a series of stretching exercises and light physical workouts. These activities are designed to help guests move their bodies fluidly, ensuring an enjoyable experience for those new to martial arts training.
Ryo has been passionately involved in “Kyokushin Karate” for two decades. In 2013, he achieved 3rd place at the KWU World Championship (-75kg) and became the All-Japan champion of Kyokushinkan International (-80kg).
In 2020, he earned the 2nd Dan black belt, and as an independent karate instructor, he was invited to the international camp in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2023, 2025, and 2026. In January 2026, Ryo participated in the kata competition organized by Kyokushin Kenbukai and secured 1st place.
