Outstanding - A must do experience if you are into Japanese samurai history. Taro san, the owner was very friendly and took the time to explain the history of the Samurai and each pieces of the armor. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience.

Great Samurai Armor Experience - This was such a great and unique experience. You get to put on samurai armors worn by historical figures and learn about them. The owners were such nice and knowledgeable people.

Samurai Photoshoot Experience - Great Fun and Happy Memory Made - Learning, meeting people, experiencing new things, and making memories are why I travel. Sengoku accomplished all of these. Our group was 3 people from the US with no Japanese language skills, and I made reservations online. The team at Sengoku Photo Studio's English skills got us organized and directed for the photos. If as a kid (or adult) you ever played "dress up", RPGs or just cowboys, this is for you! Be a samurai for a couple of hours! If you watched Shogun, and thought it was cool (yes, I did) then this is for you! I didn't realize what cool things could be done with a green screen, but even all the behind the scenes photos we took are a hoot! We ranged in size and weight from a slim 5'7" to almost 200 lbs 5"10. Sengoku had armor to fit us all, and has children's sizes as well. This is some very intricate outfitting, not a mail order Halloween costume. The team is professional, friendly, talented and we very much enjoyed our time with them. Imagine, you not only get to dress the part, but there is a certain satisfaction in the posing and shouting to attack as you ready your sword! At the end of your photoshoot, your chosen photos, a thumb drive of others not printed, and other items (we chose canvas prints and mugs) are ready to go with you. The entire experience was so much fun! This will be a great memory from our trip to Japan, and I know I will look at these photos with joy and appreciation for the great experience.

Best Memory, Most Fun, And I Have the Photos to Remember it - Yeah, you can Photoshop yourself into all kinds of things, but that doesn't get you the interaction, education, experience or happy memories that a real photoshoot provides. This is a chance to dress up in wonderful gear/costume, appreciate the culture, enjoy the professional, friendly, and helpful staff, laugh a lot, and get photos and mugs, etc. to remember it all. I feel so lucky to have discovered Samurai Sengoku Photo Studio! It is a small place with a big personality! To give you more context, we are from the US, speak no Japanese, and the photoshoot team's English was easily up to the task of guiding us. We ranged from a very slim 5'7 to a heavier 5'10 (ok, so I'm almost 200lbs, and made a fierce samurai), and there was appropriate size gear. They fit children, too. The photos and the other prints (canvas, mugs, etc.) that you choose are printed during your shoot and are ready when you leave. I highly recommend this experience.

Samurai fun time surprise - Such a fun activity to do in tokyo. Owners are super friendly and more than happy to explain the history of the armour you are wearing. So fun to sress up and also see your friends in a professional photoshoot fully kitted out as samurai. Highly reccomend and the photos look elite!

A must do experience - My mate and I did this samurai photoshoot and it was outstanding! We learnt about samurai history and did the photoshoot with phenomenal service all the way through. It was such a fun experience and we laughed a lot. Photos turned out great too.

Great Cultural Experience - I took my 16-year-old son to the studio for the two-hour Samurai photoshoot. It was an easy walk from Shinjuku Station, following Google map. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were also extremely knowledgeable. We loved hearing their detailed explanations about Japanese history and the techniques used to make armers during the Sengoku war period. Selecting an armor, dressing, and taking pictures were done very quickly and smoothly. I remember that the whole session was done within an hour and a half. My son was very excited about the opportunity to wear an authentic Samurai armor. It was definitely a memorable experience for him. The pictures came out very nicely. We also bought coasters with a small additional cost. They were nice keepsakes. We hope to do the photoshoot again during our next trip to Japan. Thank you!
