Excellent, Authentic Martial Arts Experience! - Excellent and authentic martial arts experience in Tokyo! I highly recommend this course! Daichi and Makoto were great instructors! They did great explaining and sharing their knowledge of Kendo. The course starts with Kendo knowledge and progresses to the culmination where you get to engage in Kendo sparring matches!

Good Experience into Kendo culture. - Daichi and Makoto were excellent guides throughout. The entire activity was great, from learning the basics and history of Kendo to practicing with the practice swords. The photos and videos were nice and they didn't feel intrusive during the lessons. If you want to get a taste of Kendo culture this is an excellent place to try it out. Arigato Gozaimasu.

Japanese trip must HAVE - I’ve tried many cultural activities in Japan, but this felt truly different. Wearing real kendo armor and stepping into training made me feel like I was experiencing something authentic, not just watching it. Through the movements and etiquette, I felt a real connection to Japanese culture. I’d definitely recommend this to friends visiting Japan and anyone who loves martial arts. Your review means a lot to us, and it helps more people around the world discover the true spirit of Kendo. Thank you so much for your support.

Great Experience - This was a fun experience. A nice break from all the sightseeing to do something more active. Daichi and Makoto were great at explaining and teaching Kendo techniques and the mental/spiritual aspect of Kendo. There’s a chance to spar with other participants and the instructor at the end of the session. A very enjoyable, unique, and authentic experience! More details: level of activity is light, kendo armor/uniform is provided, there’s a changing area if you want to bring a change of clothes (we brought an extra shirt but didn’t need it). Water is provided as well but you can bring your own if you want.

Great Workout and Great Instructors - I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband and it was 100% worth it. He managed to get a 1 on 1 class with the instructors and was able to spend the whole time practicing. They were both very knowledgeable and patient, even with a loud baby shouting along. The sparring was so fun to watch and my husband enjoyed every second of it. Great work out and great entertainment for those watching.
