Kankakei Summit Observation - Lunch spot ★Guests who wish to use the ropeway will travel one way from the summit to the base (Kountei Station). *Please pay the one-way fare (check the fare on the official Kankakei Ropeway website) at the summit ticket booth. Our bus will also pick you up at the base (Kountei Station).
☆Guests who do not wish to use the ropeway will enjoy lunch and sightseeing at the summit before taking the bus from the summit to the base (Kountei Station).
The bus guide will inform you of the bus departure time from the summit.
The ash breccia deposited by volcanic activity has been eroded by crustal movement, water, and wind, creating a gorge that is considered one of Japan’s three most beautiful gorges. [Duration: 50 minutes, travel time from Choshikei to Kankakei summit: 40 minutes] - Movie Village of 24-no-Hitomi - The set used in the 1987 movie is preserved here, and once inside, the world of the Showa era comes to life.
At the back of the village is the Cape Branch School used in the film, offering views of the tranquil Seto Inland Sea through the classroom windows. [Duration: 60 minutes, travel time from Kankakei Kountei Station to the movie village: 30 minutes]
- Ittokuan - Takesan Memorial Hall, Shodoshima Tsukudani no Sato Ittoku-an showcases the history of Shodoshima’s soy sauce and tsukudani development through videos and panel displays. There are also many tsukudani and soy sauce souvenirs available. [Duration: 20 minutes, travel time from Kankakei Kountei Station to the movie village: 10 minutes]
- Michi-no-Eki Shodoshima Olive Park - With olive fields, herb gardens, Greek windmills, and views of the Seto Inland Sea and Uchiumi Bay, it feels like the Mediterranean. The park also features the Olive Memorial Hall, Herb Craft Hall, and Sun Olive Hot Springs. [Duration: 30 minutes, travel time from Ittokuan to Olive Park: 20 minutes]
- Angel Road - Angel Road is a sand path that appears from the sea at low tide twice a day. It is said that if you cross it holding hands with a loved one, your wish will come true. (View from the train window. You can get off along the way.)

Dosho Port Sightseeing Center - Tonosho Port Tourist Center is a 1-minute walk from Tonosho Port. It offers a wide selection of Shodoshima souvenirs, including olive oil and olive cosmetics.
