Fun and educational - This was a wonderful experience. The instructor was so kind and taught us so much. It was fun having the opportunity to make my own matcha at end too! 11/10 would recommend.

Great opportunity to learn about the tea ceremony - We had the opportunity to learn about the history and spirit of tea ceremony in a beautiful tea room. While enjoying the matcha prepared by the teacher, We also had the wonderful experience of making matcha myself. When I visit Kanazawa again, I definitely want to make a reservation. Thank you so much!!

Good fun - The explanation, with the tea ceremony’s history, roles, and what the movements in creating a cup of tea, or picking up a cha bowl was excellent. Fun too was trying one’s hand at creating a foamy version yourself. That it was in English was also a plus. The sensei was excellent. I recommend it if you are at all curious about this very Japanese tradition.

Ruined our afternoon. Took our money. - We were just a few minutes late and they turned us away. Unwilling to offer refund. Would not reccomend. The only unsavory buisiness people we've encountered in Japan. We wish them good luck.
