Family of 4 thank for this amazing experience. - Magical experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. I would have never had the courage, knowledge, or tools to do this myself. The Night Vision googles were mind blowing and open your eyes to an entire universe. Thanks for this amazing experience.

Unforgettable night under the stars! - We're all sitting here at breakfast the next morning still buzzing over the experience last night with Tony and Cuz. The stories, the stars, the stories, the goggles, the history, the stories, the philosophy, the setup, the care shown, and the stories - so well done!! A must worth the price for anyone wanting the perfect ending to a day at Joshua Tree.

Amazing experience! - This was my first time stargazing at Joshua Tree and I am glad I went with these guys! This was not a typical stargazing tour. In a way, it was a history lesson. (I like historical btw). I learned so much about wisdom of people went before me and how they used storytelling of the stars they observed to enrich their lives. I will definitely sign up for another stargazing tour with these guys in the future to hear more stories about stars from people of the past.

A must do! - Awesome!!! You must do this stargazing tour. I’ve never seen the moon that close up with that powerful binoculars. Loved that I was able to see Orion constellation, Andromeda and an exploding star. I loved the stories and the night vision goggles! Tony and Cuz were great hosts. They’re attentive and made the evening fun and comfortable!

Great night stargazing! - Tony was so great telling so many stories of the stars and how the older generations charted the stars using sing songs, etc. He was the best I have ever had explain the univese. His night vision and telescopes worked great and the final photo he took was surreal! Cuz was so helpful showing us the galaxies, very nice people both. I would do this each year we come out.

Really about a MILLION stars - We travel frequently and have had the opportunity to do and see some amazing things around the world and this Star Gazing experience was among the most unique and memorable. There is SO MUCH TO LIKE: -Tony’s expertise explaining and interpretation of the stars and constellations -the very cool, once-in-a-lifetime chance to look at the sky through military grade night vision goggles -the warm fuzzy hooded blanket-like ponchos they provide that are like a big warm hug (even if you brought tons of layers) -the wonderful follow-up and directions to the spot in Joshua Tree national park -the friendly and helpful assistant “cuz” -the small group (9 people max) -the great gravity chairs so you can look up while laying back -the amazing souvenir photo they take and send you for free What it’s like-this is a lot more than an ordinary star tour. Yes they have big telescopes and show you cool cigar galaxies, planets and moons, but in addition Tony weaves together stories and mythology from global cultures while pointing out features in the sky. Part graduate astronomy class, part philosophy part geography-listening and learning was truly mesmerizing. If you have the chance to do this, don’t hesitate you will NOT regret the experience. The only negative is that the time just flew by-we could have listened to the stories for another hour or two beyond the 90 minute schedule.

Striking stars and folk tales - Breathtaking views of the stars presented from a native peoples perspective. They were very well equipped for the cold and allowed us to use very cool viewing equipment. The presenter did have a tendency to ramble and the experience lasted about a half an hour longer than we expected, but overall worth doing!
