BEST TOUR EVER with a life-long Soweto resident - Jabulani is a great guide, ambassador for his community, and just an all around beautiful person. Our conversations were informative, insightful, and relevant to the current landscape in South Africa. Jabulani accepted my short notice request, on his birthday nonetheless, and was very accommodating to all of my requests for a one of a kind, custom experience. Look no further for a wonderful introduction to Soweto, Kliptown, Johannesburg, and South Africa as a whole from a life long local of Kliptown, Soweto. I would book any experience with Jabulani and am happy to support his business and work youth in the community.

Go for an authentic experience - Jabulani, our guide lives in Soweto. This is a authentic experience. We go to visit the Apartheid museum, Mandela house and walk through the settlements, meet two amazing singers and a local artist. It is an enriching experience from someone local. Support this local business.

My First Time in Soweto - Hello, I had the time of a lifetime on my tour hosted by Jabulani. He is an awesome, passionate host. He showed that he is knowledgeable and educated on the history and specific details of Johannesburg, and Soweto. On this tour, I was able to see incredible scenic sites and we had made several stops to take great photos. Being that it was my first time in South Africa, visiting from the US, I would totally go back and redo the tour with Jabu if I was able to do it all over again. I highly recommend this tour. It was long, but worth every second. Also, Jabu was patient with all the other guest who were on the same tour as me, he accommodated everyone well.

Tour did not take place - The tour didn't happen. Pick up from the hotel at 8:00 was confirmed by the operator. At 08:20 the tour was cancelled by email from the guide. The guide could not be reached. They say there was traffic chaos and a demonstration in Soweto. The staff of our hotel , who live in Soweto, had no problems. So it was an outright lie. He offered to do the tour a day later. But this was not possible as we left the next day. When we told the guide he told us to cancel the tour. Why us? We then booked the same tour at short notice through our hotel. Everything was problem-free. There was neither demo nor chaos in Soweto. I don't think there were enough bookings. But we could have been told that. Too bad However, the refund worked very quickly and smoothly. Thank you for that.
