Five Star Tour by Thabang - Thabang was our guide, can’t believe this was his first tour since mid-December. He is a truly authentic guide with great knowledge and a man who is passionate about his routes. The itinerary was perfectly curated, starting with the vibrant and historic Vilakazi Street, including a visit to Nelson Mandela’s former home, which was a moving experience. Neo provided fascinating insights into Mandela’s life and the legacy of his fight for freedom. We also visited the famous Soweto Towers, a striking landmark that showcases local art and creativity. Best guide we came across. - Thabang is an excellent guide, very easy to talk to and never balks at an awkward question. He has an excellent historical knowledge of all things SA'n. This is a real warts and all tour and a real eye opener for non-SA folks bought up on a diet of curated news media of the eighties.
