Incredibly meaningful tour! - Itumeleng, thank you for providing us with such a meaningful and powerful tour of Soweto. Your depth of knowledge and the kindness you brought to the experience made it both thoughtful and truly unforgettable. Amazing insight into Soweto - What an amazing experience to visit and worn about Soweto with a local guide . We all learnt so much about the history , visiting a village and meeting the children was a true highlight of our trip to South Africa . NEO our guide was fantastic and so educated . We had an evening flight so did this half day tour on our last day in SA , so glad we did .

Must do tour - a gift to experience - All I have to say is wow. This tour is a must do and I would recommend to anyone traveling through South Africa. Thabang is an incredible tour guide, giving clear and articulate history and clear first hand perspectives of South Africa’s history. Apartheid and the current situation.
We had 3 teens who were blown away (as were the parents) by what we learned, as well as such important perspective on relativity and what really matters.
I appreciated hiw Thabang stopped and offered us a chance to walk around and get a feel for Soweto, and we never felt unsafe at any point. Also his van was great - clean and comfortable.
One of the most meaningful tours we have ever done.

Insightful tour of Soweto with a friendly and informative guide! - Thabang was a brilliant tour guide and gave me and my family an insight into life in Soweto and its history within South Africa. He gave us lots of interesting and thought-provoking information throughout the tour and we were able to view areas over and above the usual tourist spots. We felt safe throughout the tour and were able to stop in a number of areas to learn more and take photos. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about life in Soweto and its past and present. Thank you Thabang for a wonderful tour.

Amazing tour - Amazing tour. A real feel of what Soweto is and means to South Africa. We were picked up right on time and met with an authentic Sowetan dweller who was kind enough to share a bit of history and a actual tour of its different aspects. Would absolutely recommend.

Great Knowledge on Soweto - Thabang did an amazing job of showing us the authentic Soweto experience, from the more affluent areas to the informal settlements, and introduced us to the locals living there.
The visits to Mandela House and the Hector Pieterson Museum offered deep insights into the community’s history and lives. Highly recommended!

Soweto Half day - Best tour ever! - If you’re after a tour and want to the see the real Soweto then this is the tour for you! We were delayed 24hrs in Johannesburg and at the last minute decided to book a half day tour. Thabang took our family on an experience of a lifetime. His knowledge and understanding of the area he lives in was beyond our expectations. I personally found it extremely moving and as a family decided it was the best tour we’ve ever been on. If I ever find myself in Johannesburg again, I’ll certainly contact Thabang to join one of his many tours! Thanks Thabang for sharing your home, life experiences and allowing us to see the real Soweto!

Unforgettable experience - Probably one of the best tours I have ever done . I wasn’t expecting much as we had to do something because our flight was canceled . Thabang was so knowledgeable and the walk in the township was an eye opener . Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the real Soweto,not just Nelson Mandela house .

An Unforgettable Guided Tour of Soweto with Thabang - I had the pleasure of exploring Soweto yesterday with my son, and it was an experience we'll never forget. Our guide, Thabang, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, passionate, and full of heart.
He didn’t just show us the sights, he brought Soweto to life — from the vibrant streets and local history to the deep-rooted spirit of the community. Thanks to him, we didn’t just see Soweto, we truly felt it.
