Fantastic Experience With this guided tour - Driver showed up on time to pick us up from the hotel. Bottled Water was also provided. The driver/guide introduced history of Johannesburg on the way to the destinations. He also explained what happened to the little kid that had tragical moments in 1976 when he was unintentionally involved in conflict with the police. With this guided tour, you will have a peaceful mind when visiting Soweto safely.

Very interesting type of... - Very interesting tour of soweto and self guided visit to the apartheid museum. Johannesburg is a rough looking city. This tour takes in the things I wanted to see most and although you go through some sketchy areas, I felt safe with the guide and enjoyed the ability to see these things in a safe way and learn about the history of South Africa.

An indispensable visit to Johannesburg - One of the must-sees if you are visiting Johannesburg! A complete discovery of Soweto (the township, the middle-class houses, the famous fireplaces, Mandela's 2 houses etc.) All this done with and thanks to Gabin! An unforgettable guide with his anecdotes and humor, he made this day, a milestone day. We thank him once again and wish him all the best Philip and Sarah

Impactful and Informative - Our hotel was not on the list of pick up spots, but the tour owner helpfully and patiently told us how to get to a pick up hotel on our own so that we could meet the tour. A very enjoyable, impactful and informative tour and one I am so glad we were able to go on. The 45 minute ride in an Uber was well worth it!

Great half day trip to learn more about Johannesburg - Would recommend this half day excursion to learn more about Johannesburg. I was picked up from the hotel in a nice clean minibus. Brian was a great tour guide, providing a clear and informative commentary about all the sights we visited, including the Apartheid Museum (excellent and very moving), Soweto and Nelson Mandela’s house. Thanks, Brian!

Half Day Johannesburg - This was a great tour! Our gude/driver was excellent. He was friendly, informative, funny, and just really good at his job. The Apartheid Museum was excellent and informative, and it's also big; so a person would really need a full day or two to fully explore it. If I come back to Johannesburg, I will definitely take this tour again.

Somewhat Lacking. - Apartheid Museum was fascinating and eye-opening. Not enough time to see all of it. Our guide, although pleasant enough, sounded like he was giving us minimal “canned information” and put an emphasis on photo opportunities. When we had a question, he did try to answer it, but sometimes seemed to just ignore it. Info like , here’s a car dealership or this building is where people work just didn’t cut it and we were told the same info on the stadium three times.
