Excellent Tour - We had a fantastic tour with a great guide Tshepo. He had so much knowledge to pass on. From a tour through the poorest of areas in Soweto with local on site guide Wendy, to the richest of areas in Johannesburg. A great stop at the Hector Pieterson museum was very thought provoking but very interesting. Had a lovely coffee stop outside the museum and ended up at the African Craft market in Johannesburg. Would highly recommend

The quintessential tour of Johannesburg to understand it’s past, present & future. - Forget the museums, see and hear the real affect of the apartheid today with your own eyes and ears.

Bringing History Alive - A very enjoyable experience with guide Khutso. He drove around various areas of Soweto talking about it's history, changes and showing the various types of settlements from tin shacks the poorest survive in as well as newer houses built to re-house the poorest through to some middle-class properties. We also visited the areas landmarks including Nelson Mandela's house. I was also given the chance to talk to a local resident who showed me around some of the poorest homes and we visited a locals established kindergarten group. Remembering the demonstrations and actions in 1976 and the subsequent history of South Africa, it was fascinating to visit an area and see what it was like today aided very much by my excellent guide Khutso. It was also a very humbling experience and made me appreciate what I have and that I was lucky enough to be able to afford to travel there.

Informative Tour - the tour was good. The guide was friendly, funny, reliable, and had a lot of information and we felt safe. We were 7 people in a bus for 9 people. It was a little bit tight in the back, especially for tall people.
