We visit the Memorial and NOT the Museum as exhibitions are also found at the Apartheid Museum which is a major highlight of the Tour
- Apartheid Museum - The Apartheid Museum illustrates the days of Apartheid and the 20th century history of South Africa.
Here, you will take a self-guided tour of the museum with audio, visual and reading materials on exhibition. It has a well-illustrated routes and your Tour Guide will usher you into the Museum.
After the tour of the Museum. Your Tour Guide will take you back to your pickup point where you will relax and reflect on the day’s experiences.
It takes at least + 2 hours to go through all the exhibitions.
- Sakhumzi Restaurant - After visiting Mandela House Museum, you will have an opportunity to walk around Vilakazi Street and have a Buffet lunch at Sakhumzi Restuarant. It is a popular “Shebeen”, (township restaurant) where guests are treated to some of the local dishes.
This is an optional recommended stop for lunch, your Tour Guide will arrange a table for you, if you elect to have lunch here.
