Full Day Tour of Mogao Grottoes with 3 Special Caves. The Silk Road Show
Mogao Caves - Visit the Mogao Grottoes & Digital Exhibition Center, one of China’s four most renowned grottoes. It features 492 grottoes, 45,000 square meters of murals, and 2,400 painted statues.
After exploring the regularly open caves, three special caves will be arranged for you, offering a more intriguing experience.
Dunhuang Theater - In the evening, enjoy one of China’s top dance dramas, The Silk Road Show, which lasts 90 minutes with VIP seating. (From November to April, the show is not included in the tour.)
Yumen Pass & the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty, Transfer to the Airport
Yumen Pass - Visit the Jade Gate Pass & the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty. Historically, the Han Dynasty constructed many walls to secure the frontier region and explore trade opportunities with the western region. Unlike other dynasties’ walls, which were built by stacking stones or bricks, the Han Dynasty Great Wall was constructed using local sand and weeds.
After lunch, transfer to the airport for flight MU2216 (1530/1745) from Dunhuang to Xian, and connect to the next flight to Beijing or Shanghai.
