• Mei’s Grand Courtyard - At 8:30 am, guests will be picked up from their centrally located hotel in the Tianhe, Yuexiu, Liwan, or Zhizhu District in Guangzhou, or they can meet at the designated meeting point. A 2.5-hour car journey to Taishan follows.
  Initially, visitors will explore the Meijia Courtyard, also known as Mei’s Grand Courtyard. This historic town features numerous buildings constructed 100 to 150 years ago by affluent overseas Chinese families. The town has been remarkably preserved, making it an excellent location for filming movies and taking photographs.
• Chengdong Road - Next, the tour proceeds to the Taishan historical street area, where participants will discover the history and culture of overseas Chinese in their hometown. The history dates back 100 years to when these families established their hometown. The area boasts charming Qilou-style old buildings along the streets. Additionally, visitors can purchase local snacks or souvenirs here.
  Afterward, a 2.5-hour car ride will return guests to their Guangzhou hotel, concluding the tour.

Taishan, located about 140km from Guangzhou, is the hometown of many overseas Chinese. There are still plenty of old buildings, villages, and towers in Taishan to display the history that Chinese moved to abroad from their home about 150—100 years ago. This private tour will let you take a private vehicle to Taishan, then you will visit Maijia Courtyard, and historical street area with your local guide. You have opportunity to learn the history, culture and architecture in Taishan. Moreover, you will taste the delicious local lunch including Tofu, eel rice and chicken. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your Guangzhou hotel.
