- This was promoted on 'rainy days in Jasper' - it definitely needs a clear sky, we were lucky with the weather, and I'm so glad we found it. The staff are really knowledgable and enthusiastic about astronomy - particularly Tyler (an astrophysist). I would love to come back to the dark skies festival in October.

Amazing, well worth the money and time! - Absolutely loved this tour! The 45 minute dome was informative, while still being entertaining! Plus our guide was more then happy to stick around after for my questions regarding the planets in our solar system! The telescopes where honestly the highlight of the tour for me! Getting to see distant star clusters with my own eyes throught the telescopes left me speechless! The clouds did roll in towards the end, and my guides mentioned a 2 year raincheck that I will be sure taking them up on to see more of the cosmos. Thank you to the guides for an unforgettable tour!

Great telescope experience - This was a great tour and the staff were very knowledgeable. The telescope part after the dome was definitely more interesting and engaging. We had a clear sky and saw and stars and got some really cool pictures of the stars.

We were surprised to see... - We were surprised to see that the “planetarium” was in a tent. We expected a building. We knew the telescope part would be outside. Unfortunately we didn’t read the part about standing for long periods. Perhaps having chairs in the other 2 tents would reduce the length of time standing. It was cloudy on our night so we couldn’t use the telescopes. The 2 year period to come back is great for locals but a partial refund would be nice for those who are on a once in a lifetime vacation and have no chance of returning.

Give this a miss - I would echo al the other one star reviews. Not worth the time or money. The staff are well meaning but it is a tent on an old tennis court with a few rocks in it.

Bad activity - A very bad activity! Bored and you think you'll see through the telescopes and not see anything! It's just videos and explanations

This is not a planetarium. It’s tents and reclining lawn chairs. - To call this a planetarium is a fraud. It’s a couple of tents and reclining lawn chairs, with college age kids reciting Google information and passing around three-d printed rocks. Complete waste of time and money for anyone over the age of five.

Poor Experience, Would Not Recommend - This was a disappointment. We expected a scientific based presentation, not one focused on more of a Hollywood sensation approach. There were way too many people in our group. The people in the back could not hear what the guide was saying in the front. The planetarium was a tent in the middle of a field and there were only seats that reclined for HALF of the people in the very large group. The quality of the presentation in the planetarium was subpar. I think if the fire department were to visit, they would find a violation of too many people in the structure. We left after the poorly presented planetarium part when we realized that the telescopes were setup in the same field with people leading the viewing without any scientific experience and again very large groups. I think this would have been fun for when my son was 10 years old and expectations were low. Spending almost $100 a piece for the low quality was irritating to say the least.
