Beautiful hike with Rafael - We went on this Hike with Rafael. He was so knowledgeable about the forest and the entire city of Rio. It was an honour to be shown this area by him! He took some lovely pictures of us too and taught us loads We highly recommend booking this trip. The hike itself is moderate and beautiful the whole way.

Best tour we have done this trip! - What a fantastic tour! The admin team were prompt, informative and responsive with every question I had prior to the tour and really helpful in picking the best day as the weather has been a bit patchy this week. Bernardo our guide arrived very promptly to pick us up and immediately put us at ease with his friendly manner and calm demeanour. He was a safe, but efficient driver, getting us to the park a moment before opening so we could be the first ones in. The trail itself is a great way to get up the the Christ Redeemer statue. We saw many birds and a mini capybara (I can’t remember the proper name). Bernardo kept up a comfortable pace, giving us lots of information and stopping at appropriate spots for breaks. The statue was very crowded but he helped us get some great photos and pointed out landmarks around the viewpoint which was very interesting. We also saw monkeys with their babies on their backs! After the walk back down, he took us around the park a little as well and we got to see the school of art and a temporary exhibit too! I would definitely recommend this tour!! I would say you need to be relatively fit, by the end we had walked 22,000 steps and climbed 157 flights of stairs according to my phone. Thanks again Bernardo for a wonderful tour.

Great Hike - I loved the hike. The views were excellent, and I got to see a lot of interesting wildlife on the way, including several monkeys and a toucan. On top of that, my guide was great. He was fun to talk to and was really informative both about the type of wildlife native to the area and the history of the Christ the Redeemer statue.

An unforgettable trip, with a wonderful guide. - Hiking up through the Tijuca Forest was fabulous, especially because my wonderful guide, Rafael, knew the names of so many trees, plants, birds, animals, etc. And such a nice guy - very supportive and helpful in every way! The views from the top were spectacular, particularly the places we stopped along the way to enjoy the scenery without the crowds.
