Terrific museum!! - Great job in including all the important history of the Lucy/Desi partnership and show. It wasn’t overwhelming but just right. So cool that they have the full sets from the NY and Los Angeles apartments. Very much worth a trip to see this terrific museum!

Great time for couples - A must go for all Lucy fans! Once you go through the first museum, there is a second part two doors down. There are a lot of artifacts of Lucy’s including her Mercedes. So glad we took the trip! Plus, there are murals all over town that you have to find!

TOTALLY AWESOME - After visiting the National Comedy Center, I walked a couple of blocks up the street to the Lucille Ball – Desi Arnaz Museum. I grew up watching the “I Love Lucy” show and found this museum to be a totally awesome tribute to the life and careers of Lucy and Desi. There are a large number of personal artifacts from both Lucy and Desi, including the front door from their Beverly Hills Home and Lucy’s Mercedes Benz. There is also a large number of artifacts directly related to “The I Love Lucy” Show including the sack dress from the Paris episode and Lucy’s Charlie Chaplin Costume. Perhaps the most popular of the “I Love Lucy” exhibits are the replicas of the Living Room and Kitchen or “Ricardos” New York City Apartment and the Living Room from their Hollywood Hotel Suite. On a side Note, be sure to take the time to walk around Downtown Jamestown and see the “I Love Lucy” murals that are painted on some of the buildings. When you purchase the dual admission ticket to both the Lucy-Desi Museum and the National Comedy Center you do receive a slight discount to both museums. While I walked up and purchased my dual admission on site, you might consider purchasing you tickets online prior to arrival. All in all, The Lucy-Desi Museum is a wonderful Museum, and I really enjoyed my visit.

Wonderful museum - I loved this museum. Lucy and Desi Arnez were truly inspirational people. They both experienced hardship in their early year and went on to accomplish so much. This is a museum well worth seeing.

I was wonderful! - I wish I would have had a lot more time. It was so much to read and listen to. Love that this is available for all to see. It should be more widely known.

Enjoyable Visit - The museum was bigger than I anticipated as it’s in 2 different buildings. It provides a good overview of Lucile Ball and Desi Arnaz. The information flow is good and the exhibits are varied and interesting. I found the Desilu exhibit particularly informative. The museum doesn’t go in to much detail about their personal lives. E.g. there’s no mention of Desi’s affairs that led to their divorce. The gift shops (one in each building) sell a wide variety of Lucy-related souvenirs. The museum is about 5-10 minutes off of I-86. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re driving by.

Definitely worth a visit! - Really fun museum for any fan of I Love Lucy and/or Lucy and Desi. Lots of interesting and cool facts and exhibits. We did not pay extra for the audio tour and didn’t feel like we missed anything. I especially liked being able to record my own Vitameatavegemin commercial! Great gift shop as well.

DISAPOINTED THIS TIME - I VISITED ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO AND THEN AGAIN YESTERDAY. I WOULD SAY MY EXPERIENCE BACK 15 YEARS AGO WAS MUCH BETTER. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD HAVE CHANGE UP THE EXHIBIT A BIT BUT THE SAME AS IT WAS. I DID NOTICE THAT A LOT OF THE ITEM WERE REDONE WITH NEW UPDATED FURNTURE AND NATURALLY NOT THE ORGINAL. IT IS NOTED THAT A LOT WAS LOSS OR DISTROYED. THE CUSTUMES WERE RE PRODUCED AND ONLY A FEW OF THE ORIGINALS THAT I SAW. THE GIFT SHOP WAS SCARCE WITH NOT MUCH OF LUCY. I WAS LOOKING MORE FOR THE DOLLS AND CLOCKS, FIGURINES BUT THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY OF THAT BUT ONE BARBIE DOLL. T SHIRTS PRICY AT $28.00 AND NOT THE GREATEST QUALITY. REALLY DISPOINTED THIS TIME. WE DID VISIT HER CHILDHOOD HOME AND HER RESTING PLACE. THAT WAS THE BEST PART OF THE TRIP.

Disappointed!!! - Changed our travel plans and left a day early to visit on a Tuesday as the schedule indicated it was closed on Wednesdays. Got there and found out that they close on Tuesdays as well after Labor Day. Their web site was updated after Labor Day to indicate that, but no mention was made prior to Labor Day when we were making plans. if we had known we would have taken a different route and not wasted a travel day. Very disappointed by the experience and would not recommend this venue.
