Embark on an excursion to the Southern shoreline of Jamaica. Take in the awe-inspiring views and rich greenery as you traverse the peaks and troughs of the verdant terrain. Unwind while your competent driver manoeuvres the slim, sinuous rural paths through the hilly regions, and your guide regales you with both historical and entertaining tidbits about our cherished island. Your Appleton Estate Double pass allows you entry to the historic YS Falls and the famed Joy Spence Appleton Estate Rum Experience.
- ARRIVAL TIME Please note the time selected during checkout is your arrival time, not the hotel pickup time. Hotel pickups commence approximately 90 - 180 minutes prior to this time depending on the hotel location.

Best Tour and Tour guide from Chukka Caribbean Adventures Montego Bay. - Appleton Estate Rum Tour and YS Falls With Transportation From Montego Bay.
Best Tour and Tour guide from Chukka Caribbean Adventures Montego Bay...August 2024.
We booked the Tour via Viator website. It was seamless with digital tickets and flexible cancellation policy.
Our tour was August 9, 2024.
We had the best Tour guide from Chukka Caribbean Adventures, Elton James. He went above and beyond ensuring we were educated along the way with some history and celebrity homes, also stopping for us to take a break and photos as well as introduced some authentic Jamaican flavors for us to taste. We wished the day wouldn't end. We will definitely be requesting him when we visit again.
YS Falls was not busy and crowded as Dunn's River Falls and the Falls and Grounds are beautiful with a cool Mineral pool as well.
At Appleton Estates we learned so much from the film and guide. They were gracious hosts with welcome drinks and Lunch...the Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork tasted awesome and truly authentic.
I would do this tour again!

Amazing time - Loved the history of Appleton Estate. The rum was amazing to taste I made sure to get a bottle to take home. YS falls was beautiful! Great place to take pictures.

Best excursion yet! - Amazing tour and would highly recommend! Long trip from Negril but totally worth it for the whole experience. Loved the Safari and the YS Falls but the highlight was the Appleton distillery…. The guide was very informative and we loved the tasting session! If u go on hol to Jamaica you would be crazy to miss this!

Great day out! - Starting at YS falls, which in our opinion were nicer than Dunns river falls ( quieter, not so ‘in your face’) it’s a wet one so make sure you are prepared. After a spot of lunch headed off the Appleton estate to sample some rum. Really well informed tour with tasting at the end. Certainly changed my rum drinking habits now I have a better understanding of it.
Really good day out, well worth the cost. Again, all priced in US$

Great trip with exceptional guide and driver . 10 out of 10 - Viator you did us proud on this one. We had booked YS falls and Appleton but as numbers low you paired us up with 3 others doing the additional black river trip rather than cancel us. From pick up by Elliot ( tour guide and teacher ) and Shippy ( our excellent driver ) until dropping us back to the hotel we had the most amazing time. Information all day , lovely little bits of extra information, timed to perfection and even a quick additional stop on way back to try cream rum too. Could not fault this experience or viators handling of it. My favourite day in Jamaica , loved it ! And doing it in a smaller group ( rather than with the big TUI group as previously planned ) meant we got a true relaxed experience that felt really special . Do this trip with Viator if your in Jamaica :-)

Visit the Appleton Estate - Tour started with river cruise. Honestly, this part was not worth it. The YS falls was good and the guides did their best to encourage us to have a good time. The best part was the Appleton Estate. Comprehensive tour of the distillery with a good tasting. You do not need to buy rum here as you can get it slightly cheaper in duty free at the airport. Had lunch and it was very tasty.

A must for rum lovers! - Absolutely loved this tour! I done this for my 27th Birthday and it was so much fun! There was a choice of 2 welcome drinks which were delicious! Then we got to learn and see how the rum is made. Highlights were seeing the donkey, getting to press the sugar cane and all of the tastings. It would have been 5 star but just felt a bit rushed. Wished we had more time to take some photos and the tour was a little bit slower. But overall it was such an amazing experience, a must do for any rum lover! Beautiful grounds and very fun day out in Jamaica!
