Fantastic guide for a truly special experience - Cervando the guide and Victor the driver were fantastic. The tour seemed almost to be created for us on the spot. Cervando was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. It was obvious that he cares passionately about the area and its inhabitants. We did so many fun things—having a goat milk and alcohol drink (that one of us milked the goat for) for breakfast, visiting a tequila distillery for a tasting, stopping by a field to learn about—AND PARTICIPATE IN—agave harvesting, learning about the history of this Pueblo Magico, shopping at a silversmith, visiting a local coffee grower and chocolatier, and having a delicious lunch at a farm-to-table restaurant. I very highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get truly off the beaten path.

Wonderful personalized private tour - My husband and I had taken a wonderful 2 day tour of Guadalajara, Tequila and Tlaquepaque with Cervando and booked another tour to San Sebastián del Oeste with him. It was truly a perfect day! San Sebastián is a beautiful town and Cervando knew all the best places to show it off to its full advantage while adding special experiences catered to our interests. He always recommends terrific places to eat based on your preferences. He’s a delightful person, a very safe driver and a knowledgeable and engaging guide. We very highly recommend any tour with Cervando and My Tour Vallarta.

A Day Well Spent - Would highly recommend this tour! Cervando was excellent! We did his tour a few years ago and rebooked this year to take our friends - he did not disappoint. He shared his extensive knowledge about Puerto Vallarta and San Sebastian del Oeste and kept us entertained the entire day. We really enjoyed all the stops and his personal relationship with the people we met along the way. He was considerate and flexible. He added special cemetery stop at our request to learn about Day of the Dead traditions.

Great tour and we loved our guide Pepe! - We did the full day private tour to San Sebastian. Our guide for the day was Pepe - he was on time, friendly and professional, he spoke English very well, he knew all sorts of cool things about the area, and he showed us everything we wanted to see! It was such a fun day, and we were comfortable in the private van and able to stop for bathroom breaks, snacks, etc. whenever needed. We booked this trip on January 20 - which is the feast day of Saint Sebastian. It was so cool to see the festival and celebrations in the town. We also enjoyed stopping at local roadside vendors, tasting raicilla and other agave liquors from a local producer, tasting local coffee and chocolate, having a traditional lunch, and shopping for gorgeous textiles and artisan goods. This is definitely a fun day trip if you want to get away from the beach and see the mountains and the small towns of Jalisco.

A Day Tour outside of PV - Cervando is very gentle, kind, knowledgeable, and articulate. He made sure our group was comfortable during the entire tour, especially because we had two toddlers on the trip. On the surface, this appears to be just another tour for tourist, but we definitely got more than what we bargained for in a good way. We got more than getting just the information and history about the local area or the country in general, more than just sampling delicacies and the interesting distilled beverages (raicilla, tequila). He seems to be friends with everyone, and with that, we experienced something truly local. Through our conversations, it is clear that he sincerely cares deeply about Mexico his home and the places that we visited. We caught a glimpse of what he explained to be an archetype of an ideal and virtuous Mexican, and we believe he is a good example of one. We are very happy we booked this tour because it was highly enjoyable and enriching!

We took a full day... - We took a full day private tour to San Sebastian. Our guide, Cervando Ocegueda, was excellent, very enjoyable company and very knowledgeable about the area. San Sebastian is a colonial town with with historic architecture and glorious views. A highlight was our tour of a tequila making facility where we tasted flavored mescal.

San Sebastian with Vallarta Adventures and Juan Carlos and Julio is A MUST!!!! - It was suggested to us to visit San Sebastian by Vallarta Adventures, and we signed up with them. We were astounded by our guide Juan Carlos and the driver Julio. If you can ABSOLUTELY get on their tour. Juan Carlos was a mecca of information. He told the best story and with such expression and feeling. He brought all of us into the story by giving us names and positions helping us better understand the classes back then. The scenery was gorgeous. We stopped and tasted fresh fruits and smelled different plants. The Coffee plantation was wonderful (but yes wear bug spray), the coffee delicious but the history even better. We toured the church which was breathtaking and then had one of the BEST MEALS we had the entire trip provided by La Madalena. The flank steak was tender, succulent with the best flavor! I would go to San Sebastian just for that restaurant! Again, hats off to Juan Calos and Julio - you made the trip memorable. Thank you so much!
