TRANSFER IN (AIRPORT/HOTEL) ARRIVAL OVERNIGHT IN PALMAS

Select Hotel - Palmas, the capital of Tocantins, serves as the air gateway to Jalapão. On the day before or the morning of the expedition’s departure, at the scheduled time, the operator will meet guests at Palmas airport and provide a transfer to the Select Hotel, marking the start of the services. It is recommended to spend the day exploring the city.

Jalapão Gateway to the Heart of Jalapão

Canion Sussuapara - At 8 am, following breakfast, the journey from Ponte Alta to Coração do Jalapão begins, covering 190 km of dirt road. Along the way, a visit to the Sussuapara Canyon, a sanctuary where it always seems to rain, will be made.

Praias do Rio Novo - Around noon, the group will arrive at the Rio Novo Quilombola Community. Here, guests will enjoy the Paçoca de Carne Seca experience. After a brief rest, a charming little beach with drinkable water will be explored.

Dunas do Jalapao - The day concludes at the breathtaking Dunas do Jalapão, where, if conditions are favorable, a stunning sunset can be witnessed. The group will then proceed to the inn in Mateiros, with dinner scheduled for around 8 pm.

Fervedouro do Buriti - A uniquely beautiful boiler, belonging to Lino’s family, all native to the region.

Waterfall and Boilers + Experience of Coffee with Rapadura

Serra do Espirito Santo - For outdoor enthusiasts, the day begins at 4 am. An early start promises a spectacular dawn. The group will travel to Serra do Espírito Santo, where, under clear skies, the most magnificent starry sky in Brazil can be seen. The ascent is brief, about 750m, but challenging, rated medium to difficult. If all goes well, a beautiful sunrise will be enjoyed atop the Serra. By 8:00 am, breakfast will be served at the inn.

Formiga Waterfall - Unexpectedly, guests will find themselves relaxing in the waters of Jalapão’s most stunning waterfall, Cachoeira do Formiga, making every moment worthwhile.

Returning to Palmas

Aeroporto Brigadeiro Lysias Rodrigues - Today marks the farewell to Tocantins. At the agreed time, the operator will collect guests from the hotel in Palmas, providing the transfer-out and concluding the services.
