We will hold a minimum of $1,000 on your card for 1 to 5 vehicles; this amount is fully refundable. Alternatively, you have the option to purchase insurance coverage for $25 per ATV (non-refundable). For buggies / side-by-sides, the insurance fee is $100 per vehicle.

5 Star - What an amazing experience! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The ATV rides and horseback riding were so much fun and incredibly well-organized. The staff was friendly, professional, and made sure we had the best time.
And the food wow! The selection was excellent, and everything was absolutely delicious. It really rounded out the perfect day.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable adventure with great service. Can’t wait to come back!

Fun and exhilarating but need better prices on the photos - Had fun. I was a bad ATV driver, but the guide was very patient. The zipline was exhilarating and definitely worth the time and money. The operators ensured you were safe and comfortable. You did not feel rushed in any way. The only downside is the cost of the photos. I really wanted the spider zipline photo and a couple others, but the cost was US$17 for one photo! SEVENTEEN DOLLARS- That is exorbitant. You can also pay $65 for the full package which is still ridiculous for digital photos. That sullied the day a bit, but the experience of the adventures remains memorable in a very positive way.

Overall great experience - We arrived a bit late due to roads being closed down because of landslides, but a short walk to the next taxi to take us to the site was smooth. 1st had lunch due to late arrival and food was great and filling, plus you could have as much as you’d like in the buffet. The ATVs were amazing and a great experience and then right after they were waiting at the meeting spot with the horses that took us through rivers up and down hills for the whole HBR experience

Incredible adventure - What an incredible adventure! The San Jose tour combining ziplining, horseback riding, ATVs, surfing, and biking was action-packed and so much fun. Each activity was well-organized, and the guides were fantastic. Highly recommend for thrill-seekers!

Fantastic trip!! - Fantastic day trip all around! From pick up at our hotel to the ATV course, to the beach time, hands down, absolutely worth taking. The ATV course was awesome, lots of aggressive hills and streams with lots of guaranteed splashes & mud!! Waterfall was nice and refreshing at the end of our ATV ride. Our guide, Eric, was super cool and highly recommend the ATV course. We did the beach time as a second half adventure ( know that if you want to get beach time, you will only get one excursion at the park). Beach time is at a partner hotel in Jaco and will be worth the trip. Beach was amazing and food was great! We tried the ceviche and and asado plate. Beer was cold at the bar and scene was perfect! Highly recommend this tour!

Long pants required - Zipline was 12 separate courses - for a total of 1-2hrs. For horse back riding (or any activity), make sure you wear long pants because I got a tick on my leg and had to go to the ER to get it removed.. they should make that a requirement. Overall the activities were fun and instructors were very helpful. Fresh fruit cups after each activity were a nice touch. Shout out to horse back riding instructor Luis!

Fun tours but be careful what you got - We went for zip line and horseback riding. The tours were all very organized and nice and we all had fun. The tour guides were nice and explained everything pretty well. The lunch was great. There were many options and you can refill.
Everything was good except for two things:
1. For the horseback riding, we did not get to the waterfall and could not swim. We were prepared and wore swimsuits but we were led to a very small shallow water area. The water was just deep enough to cover the small rocks on the ground. We did not get wet at all.
My kid actually asked the guide if this is waterfall (I did not know she asked until we got back). He laughed and said no. But there was no further explanation.
At the beginning of the HBR, the guide did say that we are at the end of the rainy season, but it rained a lot recently (everyday had good rain when we were here), so the water will have a lot sand and muddy.
So I don’t understand why we did not get to the waterfall and swim in the natural pool. It isn’t like the dry season where there isn’t as much water.
When we got back to the car to go back to San Jose, the driver heard we did HBR and even asked my kids how was the waterfall and the swim. They said we didn’t go. He was like oh… So we were disappointed.
2. We bought the photo package. It is $65 for the entire package. They showed us some of the pictures when we were in the store and told us there are 70 pictures for each activity. But when I got back and looked, each activity has 70 pictures but there was only 35 different pictures. For each picture, THERE ARE TWO EXACTLY THE SAME ONES! When I looked into the details, I found that the only difference for the same two pictures was the name of the photo. I guess maybe they took two pictures for each position. However, it made us feel tricked because for each activity they put a set of pictures organized chronologically first, then the same ones with same time sequence next. They did not put the same two pictures together even though the file names of the two pictures are next to each other.
Even if they told us there are 35 photos for each activity it doesn’t sound too bad. But we are a group of four, so each person only got about 6-7 photos plus 2 group photos for each activity. And there are very similar ones in the 6-7 pictures of the individual pictures. So each person really just gets 2-3 different pictures.
If they just honestly told us how many pictures we really got, we would probably still buy the photo package, but we would not feel like be scammed later.
So lesson is if you are going to buy the photo package, make sure to watch out for the details before buy them. Don’t get mislead by how many photos you will get. You may just have half of what they claimed.
