Join us for a unique and exclusive 4.5-hour catamaran journey to Playa Fantasia, departing from Playa Herradura at 11 am. The trip takes about 40 minutes, taking us up the Gulf of Nicoya to a secluded beach destination.

Playa Fantasia is a remote beach, reachable only by sea. It is a beguiling mix of dense jungle, coral reefs, pristine white sand, and clear turquoise waters offering a thriving habitat for a variety of marine and wildlife such as Monkeys, Scarlet Macaws, Turtles, and our rescued animals.

The trip includes a delicious fresh lunch prepared by our private chef at Playa Fantasia, complemented by a bar serving refreshing Pina Coladas, margaritas, mojitos, beer, soda, and water. Fresh fruits are offered throughout the tour.

In Playa Fantasia, you can enjoy a range of beach activities with access to boogie boards, paddleboards, surfboards, snorkel gear (unguided), hammocks and beach loungers.

This trip stands as a fantastic alternative to the Tortuga Island excursion, allowing you to avoid the crowds, making it an ideal short and fun-filled day trip for families, couples, and single travelers alike.

• There is plenty of shaded areas on board, please prepare to spend majority of your tour in direct or indirect sunlight. For safety reasons spray sunscreens are not permitted.
• Our cruise is not a booze cruise, if you are looking for a booze cruise, you will be disappointed
• Our crew reserves the right to refuse entry to passengers who are intoxicated, without refund. Our crew also reserves the right to stop serving alcohol if it affects the safety of passengers.
• We board the large catamaran from small tenders from the beach. Long dresses, and pants are not recommended.
• Snorkel equipment is available, snorkelling is not guided.
• Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
• You will be notified by a representative of your pickup time, our transportation will only wait 5 minutes at each stop before moving to the next stop. If you miss your transportation time, your tour will be cancelled without refund.
• Banana boat rides are $15 per guest at Playa Fantasia.
• ID is necessary to use all snorkel equipment, paddle boards and boogie boards.
• If you are in Jaco in our Winter time (May 15th - December 15th) the chances for good snorkeling are 50/50, since it is the rainy season all depends on good weather and good ocean conditions. and it is not under our control, however we offer other activities like boogie boards, surf boards, SUP Paddle boards, as well as Soccer and Beach Volleyball on our tours in order to entertain and give our clients an unforgettable experience.
