Sit back, sip and relax - I had the wine tasting tour on the last day of my weekend break. Not just trying to help with the Pre-post-holiday blues, but also because two days before I had started the weekend with the food tour, so it only made sense to finish it off with a glass of wine. Or a few. :)) Just joking, of course. I booked the tour because I wanted to learn and taste more of the local delicacies and culture, and enjoy beautiful sights outside Izmir, in Urla region. But it makes sense to start the review with a joke, because the tour is all about fun. That's what Erge, our guide, told me. I'm not a wine expert and was afraid to take a wrong sip or bite an inappropriate snack, as that was the first wine tasting I had attended. But Erge said not to worry about "rules". It's all about just trying something new and seeing whether you like it or not. That simple. Life shouldn't be complicated. Not when you are on holiday, anyway.)) So, I relaxed, sipped wine, picked my favourite and enjoyed the experience. Nice ride in the picturesque countryside, beautiful sunny day, scenic views, two wineries with stylish design, knowledgeable and friendly staff and many wines to taste, and the best guide to keep you company on this tasty adventure. Great day out, tasty wines - Excellent trip and host, very friendly and flexible, the wineries were lovely with amazing views, and the wines were all excellent!

Enjoyable - We had a great time at the Urla winery tour yesterday. We visited two wineries and each offered 4-5 wine selection for tasting. Our guide was friendly and has a wide knowledge of Turkish culture and speciality. Overall a pleasing experience!

Excellent tour, wine, and guide! - Highly recommend to taste and learn about Turkish wine! Our guide picked us up from our housing on time and without issue. It’s about an hour ride from downtown Izmir to the wine country. Quaint wineries and uncrowded atmosphere made the experience personal and relaxing. You can choose to spend as much or little time at each location and our guide offered to show us some of his favorite spots (beaches, restaurants, etc.) because we had some extra time! Oh and the wine was delicious and various in type of varietal. 10/10 would do it again!

Excellent wine tour & super guide ! - Great afternoon visiting two beautiful wineries in the very scenic landscape of Urla region. As a wine aficionados living in Bordeaux (France) I enjoyed the small group visit (max 3 pers.) and quality time spend to discover each place and its wine selection. Highly recommend !

Anytime again! - We had a fantastic day with with far better wines than expected and the nicest tour guide one could imagine. Very knowledgable also.
