The most important things to do in Gozo in 1 day - Exactly as described. Picked up on time at 9.30 am at the Hotel Excelsior. Overland journey to the ferry approx. 1.5 hours 11.30 am ferry to Gozo. Duration approx. 25 minutes Picked up by bus from Mgarr (harbor) to the Ġgantija temples. Arrival 12.45 pm Stay for approx. 30 minutes. Continue to Marsalforn and change to a train. Drive through the city and along the coast past the salt fields to Panwie Solne and back. After approx. 1 hour back on the bus and continue to a tourist shop Handicrafts ;-). Stay 20 minutes, which was OK. 2.45 pm Then on to the west coast: Dweja Bay, optional boat trip. However, we decided to take pictures of the coast, which was great. Then continue to Victoria for a late lunch at 3.45 pm. There was macaroni, fried potatoes, vegetables and chicken or fish. Not a highlight, but completely OK. After that, 1 hour at your leisure. We recommend climbing up to the citadel because of the wonderful view and the St George's Basilica. At 5.45pm, we head to the harbor and get on the ferry at 6.30pm. After a long and well-organized excursion, we're back at the hotel at 8.30pm.

Gozo Island a must! - Mario was an excellent & efficient guide. The trip was well worth it with plenty of different places to visit. The Boat through the caves was an experience to remember!

Gigantia and Vuctoria - The trip to Gigantia is well worth a visit. I would have liked the trip to spend more time at Gigantia and less time in the Capital Victoria as by then we were truly tired out with all the coach changes and the ferry. More time could be spent at a beautiful little inlet where we had lunch. The train ride is also well worth the effort and great coastal views were had of the ancient salt pits on the beach.

Worth it! Varied and interesting - The whole tour was very good-a little something for everyone. I liked all the stops along the way ( perhaps not the shopping so much, but others liked it).

Not a great day trip - Needed to change the pick up/tour joining location but had awful trouble getting a response from the tour operator whilst in the UK. Finally got hold of them and changed it in plenty of time but then on the day of the trip we got "told off" by the guide as apparently they had been looking for us at the previous pick up point and wasted a lot of time trying to find us. Showed her my messages to prove I had had an acknowledgement of the change but she just said well the office didn't pass the message on. The trip itself was good for the most part but the lunch was very disappointing and cheap. Apart from the potato dish the rest of the food was just from a supermarket deep freeze and tasted bland. Expected more and the guide was rude to a lot of people.

Bad experience - For the hop-on hop-off bus part no bp, however for the transit from Sliema to Cirkewwa, 20 min late in the morning and he did not pick us up in the evening at 6pm, while we were there 1/4 before. We were very few in the morning but they don't even know who they're bringing. Take the city bus, cheaper and safer. To avoid.

Not worth the money - It was difficult to understand the guide ( in English). However, she was very sweet and helpful . The archeological site was a disappointment. There was not much there and were weren’t allowed to see the museum. The best part of the trip was paying $5 eu to take a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon. Very fun and beautiful. My ticket said lunch was included but had to buy my own lunch.

Gozo and Gigante full day tour- avoid - I would not recommend this tour. It was very chaotic. On arrival at the ferry crossing our guide left the bus and went into the terminal and those coming last off the bus did not know where she had gone. Other salesmen outside the terminal then tried to get us on other ferries. At each stop this was repeated with the guide striding away and people struggling to keep up and guessing where she had gone. The whole tour was chaotic with passengers asking each other what way to go. At gigante ( one of the main parts of the tour ) we had 10 minutes to explore before being put back on the bus and 30 mins at tiny craft store and 30 mins at what an only be described as a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. We eventually left one town with a family missing. Please avoid this tour

DON,T GO WITH THEM!!! - Very bad ,it,s terrible In victorie you stay only 45 minutes and at the blue lagoon 47 minutes ,and you cannot go in the water there Don,t go with them You pay 42 euro it,s 43 euro to much !!!!

Boat Supreme - Terrible!! - We booked an excursion to Gozo with Sightseeing tour at the kiosk located on the Sliema seafront - SUPREME boat. The bus that would have taken us to the port arrived half an hour late and they didn't call all the participants who were waiting and we were left stranded! They returned our money very rudely. They also say that they pay for the ferry but that's not true, you have to pay for it on the way back. The day before we went on an excursion to Comino with them... 200 people crammed onto the boat and onto the beaches. TO AVOID!!!!!!!!!!
