Unforgettable journey to Maddalena - It was a very nice experience with a friendly and professional crew. A nice getaway if you are staying in Teresa Di Galluria

Could be better but worth doing if you only have a day to see the area - Overall, this was a good trip. There was plenty of space on the boat, including undercover areas for those wanting to limit sun exposure. The scenery is spectacular - the colours of the water around the islets are just stunning. It was also great to get the opportunity to explore LM town. Logistics-wise, the meeting point was clearly communicated and easy to find, and the boat departure time at each stop was also made very clear. The lunch was a simple tomato pasta (for those requesting the veg option), but it was nice. You can also buy other snacks and/or drinks on the boat (they take card). My main issue was that the itinerary summary (not sure whether this is Viator's fault or the boat company's) is so vague that I'd wrongly assumed that the swim stops were from the boat rather than the beach. Although it was great to spend the time on the beaches (particularly the second stop - really stunning and you can choose from several linked stretches of sand), there was basically no shade anywhere unless you sat almost on top of the other people already huddled on the rocks under sparse shrubs. Had I known, I would have brought an umbrella with me. Also, the speaker system was somehow both deafening loud and very unclear, so even though information was provided in several languages, I'm not sure many people learned a lot. So I would say that we didn't see the pink beach specified in the description, but it's possible they did point it out! Lastly, the young guys working on the boat clearly had no interest in being there and sullenly did the minimum, which didn't give the best impression of the company.
