Upon arrival at Fornelli dock on Asinara Island, the guide will outline the day’s itinerary.
The tour will continue to explore the park, revealing its natural wonders and the structures that reflect the island’s ancient and recent history. While traveling in a minivan, you will pass by the former Fornelli prison, Asinara Castle, and Cala Sant’Andrea, located in zone A, which is protected by land and sea to preserve its delicate ecosystem.
The next destination is Cala di Sgombro, where you can admire the rocks, a favored nesting site for various waterfowl species. Upon reaching Cala Reale, there will be another stop at Campo Perdu, home to a riding school and the renowned white and gray donkeys of Asinara Island.
Depending on the health of the animals, there may be an opportunity to visit the Marine Turtle Recovery Center (CRAMA).
