Great way to see alot in a short amount of time! - We had 1 full day in Sorrento in mid-September and chose this trip and are glad we did. To see the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii, a person could spend a couple of weeks, but with 1 day, we felt this trip gave us a good overview of the region. Our tour guide Roberta was excellent and knowledgeable and her English was easy to understand. There was a lot of traffic the day we were there and we were running behind schedule but she said we wouldn't skip any of the planned stops - we really appreciated that attitude!

Amalfi was beautiful if very small and 2 hours here was more than enough whilst Pompeii on the other hand took our breath away. An absolute must and the guide was brilliant.

Wow, what a fantastic tour of the 2... -
Wow, what a fantastic tour of the 2 biggest wonders in Italy. Our guide Francesco is extremely personable with very strong knowledge of the Amalfi Coast and generally of Pompeii. Francesco handed us off to an expert Pompeii guide that gave me a greater appreciation of the rich history and common day to day routine that I could never get from a National Geographic documentary. Positano was beautiful and Francesco's passion for his work made the trip fun! It's not cheap, but you certainly get your money's worth and more.

This was our first trip. We were... -
This was our first trip. We were picked up at hotel in a small mini bus only four of us. Which was great.
The drive along the coast road gave us some amazing and beautiful sights. However was a bit scary as it very close to the edge.
Pompeii was amazing. Good shoes are a must as the whole area is cobles and rocks. We only done 4 hours that was enough as it was so hot .
Would certainly recommend it

Liked the tour as we were only... -
Liked the tour as we were only spending 1 1/2 days in Sorrento, and really wanted to see the key highlights in the area. This tour covers the Amalfi coast as well as Pompeii, and was one of the few tours we found that covered both aspects, so was ideal.

It took an email no reply and three... -
It took an email no reply and three phone calls to finally find out where and what time we were to be picked up for our tour. Because there were only four people signed up for this particular tour we basically had a taxi ride air conditioned along the Amalfi coast with no commentary from our driver who had very limited English. We only had 2 hrs in Amalfi and 1 hr in Positano where we had a quick lunch. It would have been nice to know some of the history of Amalfi and Positano which I thought we were getting. Again a taxi ride to Pompeii where we met our tour guide Roberta who was very knowledgeable about the history of Pompeii and we thoroughly enjoyed this part of our trip.

If I had to do it over, I would do... -
If I had to do it over, I would do the 1/2 day your to Pompeii and a separate full day tour to the Amalfi coast. The tour to The Amalfi coast was too short and because we weren't many doing that part we were sent with a driver that was more like a taxi. The driver didn't say a word!

Worst experience ever! - So it started "well". The driver and guide (which looked like two hangover teenagers) arrived late but then the trip to Positano was better than expected as the guide provided several details on the city which we weren't expecting. Time was enough, then we went to Amalfi which was also fine. Afterwards the nightmare began... they started looking annoyed, the driver moved through the highly dangerous roads of the amalfi coast as if we were in the world rally championship. Once in Pompeii, the guide was literally walking around just reading the signs with no added value (while other guides were describing lots of interesting facts). The trip back was even worse, we even thought of getting down the bus. Avoid it...
