Lots to see - If you enjoy history, this is for you. The museum has many historical transportations like trains, planes, and submarines or sailboats. It also shows how the world has evolved around technology like TV, refrigerator, stovetop, etc. All in all, lots for you to read and learn about various technological advances. We spent about 3+ hours at the museum.

Best museum visit in years!! - The ticket to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology is very affordable, making it accessible to everyone. The museum itself is massive, and you’re subtly guided by floor stickers that suggest different routes depending on whether you want a quick visit or the full experience. The first section may seem a little mundane at first, but don’t let that fool you — you’re immediately greeted by a beautifully preserved, old-fashioned pharmacy. Trust the process! As you venture further, you’re rewarded with Leonardo’s masterpieces — his stunning sketches brought to life, especially the winged inventions that showcase his genius. One of the best parts of the museum is the number of interactive displays. There are countless screens to engage with, allowing you to read, play, and learn. The astronomy section is particularly exciting, where you can explore satellites, space launches, and more. The second and third buildings are absolutely breathtaking. You’ll come across Milan’s iconic traditional trams, antique trains, and steam locomotives. And then — a whole old boat! The third building also features real airplanes and boats suspended in a dramatic display. Overall, this is one of the most dynamic and engaging museums I’ve ever visited. A must-see in Milan for science and history lovers alike.

Fun Spot - Great spot to take your family - especially good for anyone interested in foundational technology and science. Learned a lot about DaVinci and other Italian inventors, Italian industries.

Beautiful visit for customers over 12 years - Lots of things to see. Very interesting for adults and older children. Disappointing for 10 years and under because not interactive enough. I would not recommend it for them. No restaurant (under renovation?) only vending machines. Descriptions in Italian and English only. Leonardo da Vinci section (museum name...) not very large and nothing interactive for younger children. Great experience for engineering and science enthusiasts.

Leonardo Da Vinci - dreams and visions - I liked the way they conveyed the broad lines from Da Vinci’s observations, creativity and dreams to the way it connects with life today. Environment, efficiency and sustainability are also concerned.

Fix Too many devices under maintenance - There are many devices under maintenance not available. Definitely worth seeing. Interesting part of the trains and especially the part of metalworking and recycling.

DAs Technik Museum has little to nothing to do with Leonardo da Vinci. - ES shows a few models of Leonardo's idea. The rest deals extensively with the development of the Italian mining industry, as well as industrial development. It also includes the phenomena of pop culture and problems of mass production. In outbuildings you can see impressive exhibits on the history of rail and shipping. However, the latter is not explained enough by texts accompanying it.

Tour focused on history of science and technology, not Leonardo da Vinci. - This tour is presented as a museum primarily focused on Leonardo da Vinci. While there is a floor dedicated to his works, the majority of the museum is centered on the history of the Industrial Revolution and science and technology in general, which we found only mildly interesting. It’s likely a better fit for younger visitors or those looking for a broad overview of science and technological advancements throughout history. We had originally thought we were getting tickets to the Leonardo3 Museum located near the Galleria. If your main interest is Leonardo da Vinci, that museum offers a more focused experience on the “World of Leonardo da Vinci,” which is what we were hoping to see.
