Fantastic cooking class - We participated in the cooking class with great expectations, but I must say that the experience exceeded all our imagination! The atmosphere was welcoming and well organized, perfect for both beginners and those who already have some experience in the kitchen. The chef was extremely competent, patient and passionate: he explained each step clearly, sharing even small tricks of the trade that really make a difference. We have prepared delicious dishes, using the freshest ingredients and techniques easily replicated at home. Another plus point was the convivial atmosphere: a nice harmony was immediately created between the participants and the moment of the final tasting was the perfect culmination of the day. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn while having fun, improve their cooking skills and take home not only new recipes, but also a nice memory!

Cooking experience - What a fabulous, fun and delicious experience we had learning how to make homemade pasta with Marco. His explanations are easy and step by step. I loved how we always knew what we were going to do next. He’s very efficient, his warm personality made us comfortable and relaxed. You don't need any skill level, just come ready to have fun, share stories, ask questions and enjoy everything Italian! My husband and I both are so glad we took this class and it's a memory we will cherish whenever we think of Lake Como! 10/10 highly recommend!

A wonderful cultural experience for the whole family. - We are a family of 4, with two young children visiting from Australia. We come to Italy regularly, eat the local cuisine, and attempt to re create this at home when we get back, however, It never seems to taste the same at home. When we joined this class, we were greeted by everyone out the front, and welcomed in as if we were part of the family. The most notable thing at the start was the warmth in which we were welcomed. Whilst we know the very basics in speaking Italian, we are far from fluent. Not once during the evening did we feel like there was any sort of language gap. We all spoke easily, and the direction from our chef was clear, and easy to understand. On the menu was fettuccine pomodoro, tagliatelle carbonara, and tiramisu. Its worth mentioning that our children (4 and 6) are usually easily distracted and at times high energy. Our chef was able to engage everyone, including the children, and explain our steps easy enough for the children to understand, including some nice little tips and tricks to help in the kitchen. We started off with a classic tiramisu, and once that was done, we started on our pasta sauces. We made our pasta from scratch, accompanied by the delicious smells of our sauces simmering away, and the sounds of Italian music in the background, and a room full of happy conversations. We have been to a few cooking classes in the past, and this was the first class where we actually got to make the sauce as well as the pasta. Once everything was ready, we sat down as a group and enjoyed what we created, along with some delicious local wine which was paired beautifully to the menu. The biggest goal for us was to be able to re create something at home that resembled what we had learned, using the tips and tricks that our chef had taught us. The following night we decided to make a simple pomodoro pasta, but elevated, and we were extremely pleased with the results. Goal achieved. Throughout the experience, there was a great attention to hygiene. We also went at a pace that was comfortable for everyone, with time to stop and ask questions, and discuss the process. Most of all, the experience had a great sense of community, and a warm hug of Italian culture. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to elevate their skills in the kitchen, wanting to perfect and elevate the simple, and dive deep into a geniune Italian experience.

Best experience in Como - The best experience of our holiday! Mara and Omar were the best hosts for this experience, we had somuch fun and we ate the best food. Would recommend this to everybody who's traveling to Como, you wont regret it!

Cooking Class better than Como - Great experience! My friends came to see me and it was a rainy day, so we decided to participate in this cooking class experience. Best choice we could make!!!!! Cooking eating and laughing 😜 - My husband and I really enjoyed our experience with Fanny in Casa Olmi! Fanny was a ray of sunshine on an otherwise gloomy day in Lake Como and it was the perfect indoor activity. The pasta we made was some of the best we've ever tasted, and Fanny was thoughtful in her explanations and preparations. Pictures and recipes were provided afterwards. Thanks Fanny!

A different day! Cooking class super! - Wonderful experience for both adults and children! We cooked, danced, had a lot of fun and met new people. A cheerful cooking class where in addition to learning to cook we spent some moments to remember. Even my celiac baby could cook with products specific to her. Beautiful to eat all together the product of our work accompanied by excellent wine! We will come back to visit you at Olmi's house! Super recommended experience!
