Best experience during our time in Italy! - The best experience during our time in Italy. We couldn’t decide which class to take, so we opted for a combination of both pesto and pasta. The instructors were so knowledgeable about their craft and made the entire experience genuinely fun from start to finish. After the class, sitting down together to dine on the meal we created ourselves made it feel even more special. We brought our dog along, and they even made sure to get photos and videos for us, they also made him his own little certificate after the class just like us. It was such a thoughtful touch. What made this experience so special wasn’t just making and eating incredible food, but leaving with something we could actually take home with us: the knowledge behind it. And honestly, that’s the best kind of souvenir, one that doesn’t get lost in a suitcase. :)

What a beautiful memory! - We spontaneously booked the pasta-pesto experience for five people and were able to get an appointment without any problems the very next day. The communication with the restaurant was excellent – the confirmation email arrived immediately, including all the information about the process. On site, we were warmly welcomed, and everything was already lovingly prepared. Fabio guided us step by step through the preparation, explained everything in English clearly, and even shared the recipe with us. It was really fun, and you could tell how much passion is put into the work here. The farewell was just as warm as the welcome – simply an all-around beautiful experience. Next time, we will definitely try the wine and pasta experience. Clear recommendation! The tiramisu and the house wine there are a dream!

A wonderful evening — highly recommended! - We booked the pasta cooking experience for a group of 7 friends and it was an absolute highlight! From the very first minute, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and genuinely fun. Our chef was not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but also wonderfully attentive — picking up on the group’s energy, adapting the pace perfectly, and making sure everyone felt included and confident in the kitchen. That kind of intuitive, personal touch really made the difference. The pasta turned out delicious, and we all left with new skills, full stomachs, and big smiles. A perfect activity for a group — whether you’re foodies or complete beginners. We’d book again in a heartbeat!

5 stars cuisine - A great place to eat with real Ligurian roots! You can even make your own pesto here. The Price quality ratio and great staff are truly unique. I would definitely come back. I cannot understand the negative ratings of my compatriots (Swiss) here at all.

A fun and authentic cooking experience! - If you’re in Sestri Levante, do yourself a favor and eat at Trattoria da Turin — you won’t want to go anywhere else! I loved it so much that I ate there every single day during the week I attended language classes in town. The food is absolutely incredible — homemade pasta that melts in your mouth and soups that taste like they came straight from your Nonna’s kitchen. Everything feels authentic, fresh and prepared with love. But what really sets this place apart is the owner, Fabio. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. He even arranged an unforgettable pasta-making class for my friends and me. We also added a pesto-making class so we could have the full Ligurian experience. It was hands-on, so much fun, and of course, the food we made was out of this world! Whether you’re looking for a cozy dinner spot, an authentic Italian culinary adventure or simply the warm feeling of being treated like family, Trattoria da Turin is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

Fun and Fabulous "Pasta Experience" - (Let me begin by saying that this was the "Pasta Experience" at Turin in Sestri Levante and not the "Pesto Experience." The "Pasta Experience" is new to Turin and sites aren't yet updated to reflect this new class.) Five stars don't begin to do this experience justice! For almost 2 hours four of us were led by an incredibly talented and fun team in making tagliatelle, taglialini, corsetti, and gnocchi. We mixed the ingredients, kneaded and rolled the doughs, learned how to cut and form the various shapes, and striped our gnocchi, all while sipping a delicious house wine in a friendly, fun, and jovial setting. Fabio and his staff were welcoming, easy-going, informative, and so much fun! One member of our group had begun this class feeling out of his comfort zone, but within minutes was having the time of his life and became a huge fan of Turin, the staff, and the experience. When the pasta lesson was complete we were led to a lovely table outside to sip more wine, chat with the staff, and await the serving of our four freshly cooked pastas with four different house-made sauces. The gnocchi were presented with pesto, the corsetti with a butter-sage sauce, the taglialini with a luscious tomato sauce, and the tagliatelle with salsa di noci (walnut sauce). Each was spectacular! All of this - plus recipes! - was included in the price of the “Pasta Experience.” We were treated like royalty throughout the night, and the experience and price really couldn’t be beat. It’s a must-do, for sure!
