Walking in Paul’s footsteps in Corinth - What an amazing day on a private tour for six with Spiro as our driver and guide touring Ancient Corinth, St. Paul’s Monastery, and the Daphni Monastery. This tour was a dream adventure going back to biblical times that I thought I would never get to do. We got a little glimpse into HIStory by walking in the same areas that Paul, Silas, Timothy, Aquila, and Priscilla walked. The monasteries were breathtaking! on our way to Ancient Corinth, we passed over the Corinth Canal which was impressive. The architecture and sculptures in Ancient Corinth were truly amazing and well preserved! The paintings and mosaics were spectacular. Seeing these works of art in a video or book is nothing compared to seeing in them in person! In Ancient Corinth, we were on our own but Spiro gave us good instructions as the best way to view these ruins including the Bema Seat. We were able to see the Pierene Fountain, the Temple of Apollo, the Acrocorinth, too. As we were heading back, Spiro took us to Kechries, the place where Paul departed for his missionary journeys. It was a full day! Spiro was very knowledgeable and he made history come alive. I highly recommend this tour and Spiro as a driver and guide.

We greatly enjoyed our walk in the steps of Paul! - Our favorite part of the tour was Kostas, our guide. First, he is a very nice man, and extremely cordial. Beyond that, he is a wonderfully knowledgeable person about the tour topic. I asked him how long he has been in the tour business and he said 20 years, and he learned from his mother, a 50-year veteran of hosting tours. That is incredible experience. In addition, with Kostas you get insights on the culture of the ancients, Christianity, as well as contemporary Greek society. We learned a lot in the few hours we spent with him. As for the tour, we wanted to follow in the steps of Paul, and we thoroughly enjoyed doing that. We highly recommend this, if you also wish to visit Corinth and learn more about Paul.
