Family fun day - We were able to have a wonderful time because there were not a lot of people there and we did not have to wait in line. The rides did not feel stale, and we had a sense of security. We were able to cool off with some rides that included water, despite the fact that it was extremely hot.

10/10 days - If I could ride the nefeskesen every day, Istanbul’s most beautiful spot is definitely one I visit every year.

Must come VIALAND - We came for a day out with my girlfriend as she is very fond of theme parks with rides, and it did not disappoint. Had variety of rides such as the Viking which is water based and the breath taker which is one of a kind, we both would recommend to come with family, couple date or if you just passing by

Like the place - It was great the rides were real fun and for me personally the fact that not all rides were crazy really helps since I don’t want to go on rides that are too fast or too high. The staff were real kind and the mall wasn’t bad

Good day out but few points to keep in mind. - 1. All rides are good
2. Just to be mindful of rhe “packages” when you arrive. They increase the price a lot. The little addons eg horse ride might not be what everyone desires and that area had very little visitors as well.
3. The actual ticket counter at entrance of vialand might be selling just the daily ticket rather than wrapping it all into the packages ( I didn’t check as had already bought the package from the entrance to the mall! )
4. I could not find rhe free shuttle service that used to be a good service few years ago..
5. The WiFi never works for foreigners it seems . It asks to send code to your country mobile number but the code never arrived via text. We tried sims for two different countries..

A Surprisingly Fun Day at Vialand Theme Park – A Hidden Gem with a Carnival Twist - Vialand Theme Park was an unexpected surprise during our visit to Istanbul. Unlike the sprawling, highly commercialized theme parks you may be used to, Vialand offers a more localized, charming take on the amusement park experience — think carnival meets rollercoaster thrills, with a sprinkle of off-brand Disneyland.
The journey to the park is part of the adventure. To access the entrance, you first walk through a modern, clean shopping mall filled with a great variety of shops. Helpful signage throughout the mall makes it easy to navigate your way to the theme park entrance. If you book through Viator like we did, be aware that the ticket voucher must be shown at the park entrance kiosk, not at the booths outside the mall. This was a bit confusing at first, but once we figured it out, the rest was smooth.
Entry costs around $60 per person, and we took an Uber from the cruise terminal for about $15 each way. We highly recommend using the Uber app — yellow taxis are available through it, and it helps avoid tourist pricing scams that can happen with local cabs.
The park itself is laid out across three descending levels, which gives it a unique vertical feel. It wasn’t crowded when we went on July 2nd, and in 4.5 hours we managed to enjoy seven rides, including several rollercoasters and a ride clearly modeled after Disney’s “It’s a Small World” — though with a distinctly Turkish twist and a different name.
Lines can be long for certain rides, so pack your patience, but the park is clean, well-maintained, and offers enough variety to keep both adults and children entertained. There’s a dedicated kids’ zone with smaller rides for younger visitors, and while there’s no alcohol served in the park, you’ll find plenty of snack stands and familiar options like Burger King to keep you fueled.
Overall, Vialand isn’t trying to be a global theme park giant — and that’s part of its charm. It’s a more grounded, local version of family fun with an international flair. If you set your expectations accordingly, you’ll find yourself pleasantly surprised and genuinely entertained

It’s fun but not a six... - It’s fun but not a six flags or Thorpe park. It looks a bit dull compared to others in different countries. It has a street with shops which was great for me.

Great experience - Vialand is a fantastic theme park for families with kids. It’s very colorful, clean, and well-organized. The structures made are very cute .
There are plenty of rides and attractions tailored for children, including mini coasters, carousels, bumper cars, and interactive zones like Joyful Farm. Most kid-friendly rides are for children 80–120 cm tall, while bigger attractions like the roller coasters require a minimum height of 120–140 cm. The nefeskesen rollercoaster is an adventure ride and very thrilling for the teenagers.
The park is divided into themed areas (Adventure, Fantasy, and Fun), each with age-appropriate activities. Safety is taken seriously with clear height restrictions and attentive staff. A great day out in Istanbul for young families
The basic ticket is suffice to enter the theme park. The etno park is where they have a horse for horse rides and archery. That area isn't very active as yet so my kids didn't enjoy much
Parkur is an outdoor obstacle park extremely fun for kids. Very fun for kids looking for physical activity.
Joggers are required for some activities.

Worse than expected - The park is relatively moderately sized and offers mostly <18 yo children experience. If you are not planning to visit with children or you absolutely know what you are doing, don’t spend on the overrated and expensive packages (e.g. silver, gold, diamond) as it will not pay off. We came as a couple and only really went to 2 of the entertainments, one of which we had to wait in line for 40 minutes on a workday (Wednesday) afternoon. The Nha Trang’s (Vietnam) VinWonders park was a much better experience.

Very disappointed - 🌟 Very Disappointed – Not Worth the Price (Vialand Istanbul)
We paid $900 for tickets for our kids and family, expecting a fun and memorable day at Vialand. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. We arrived in the afternoon to avoid the harsh summer sun, thinking we’d still have plenty of time — but to our surprise, we didn’t even get to enjoy 4 full hours before the park closed at 6:00 PM. No one mentioned the early closing time when we purchased the tickets.
The lines were extremely long and slow-moving. We only managed a few rides, and some of the main attractions were completely missed. For a park of this size and price, we expected better organization, more transparency, and longer hours—especially in the summer season when families travel and kids want to enjoy their time.
I came all the way to Istanbul to give my children a joyful day, but we left feeling frustrated, rushed, and honestly, regretful. For the price we paid, this experience was absolutely not worth it. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
