Your hotel is our starting point around 09:00 for a full day tour on foot of the old city, so ready yourself to be captivated by the history and architecture of the remarkable city, Istanbul. Be prepared to be fascinated by the most renowned monuments and sights in the Old City district. These include the 1500-year-old Hagia Sophia Museum, the colossal Blue Mosque renowned for its distinctive blue tiles, the Hippodrome area, once the venue for chariot races during the Byzantium period, Caferaga Medresesi, a hub for promoting Turkish Culture which arranges a variety of workshops on crafts and music, Topkapi Palace, one of Istanbul’s most spacious palaces and the Ottoman Sultans’ main dwelling for around 400 years, and the Grand Bazaar, the world’s oldest covered market. We will return you to your hotel around 17:00 after the tour.
