Fun show - The dancers were fantastic. What impressed me most was how effortlessly they interacted with the audience, drawing people into the rhythm and telling a story without words.
Beyond belly dancing, the show included a variety of traditional Turkish folk dances, live music, and even a whirling dervish performance that added a spiritual and mystical element to the night. Each segment was well-paced, with fabulous costumes and talented performers that kept the audience fully engaged.

A Must-See Cultural Experience - Hodjapasha Show – A Must-See Cultural Experience
The Hodjapasha Show is truly one of the best performances we’ve experienced in Istanbul. It’s a perfect blend of professionalism, tradition, and artistic expression. From the moment the show begins, you’re drawn into a captivating journey through Turkish culture, history, and music.
The dancers are exceptionally talented, and every movement feels meaningful and precise. The use of lighting and sound enhances the emotional atmosphere, making the performance even more powerful. Whether it’s the whirling dervishes or the dynamic folkloric dances, each scene is delivered with passion and authenticity.
The venue itself, a beautifully restored 15th-century hamam, adds to the ambiance and gives the show an even deeper cultural connection. The seating is comfortable, and the environment is intimate, allowing you to feel close to the performance without being overwhelmed.
Everything is well-organized, from ticketing to the timing of the show. The entire experience is smooth and enjoyable.
We strongly recommend attending the Hodjapasha Show if you’re in Istanbul. It’s more than just entertainment—it’s a cultural experience that stays with you.

Great performance! - We thoroughly enjoyed the show! We purchased tickets (me and my sister) way in advance. Upon arrival at the venue, we then waited in line to get our seat assignments. There were plenty of folks in line in front of us, but by the time we got our seat assignments we were pleasantly surprised that we were in the first row. It appears that maybe they give priority to those who purchase their tickets sooner? If that's the case, would encourage to buy as soon as you know what evening will work with your itinerary. But fear not, the venue is intimate, so even the back row (I think 4th row?) should have good views. The performers were great and we loved seeing the different dances. The venue also has information about the whirling dervishes so you can look at the displays before the show starts. This was our first trip to Istanbul and we loved this cultural display. Would highly recommend!

Authentic Dance Performance - Really spectacular show, we wanted more than just a touristic belly dance performance, and this show delivered that and more. A wide variety of different dance styles that made us feel the rich history of the area. The music, costumes and routines were stunning. We would highly recommend this experience and will go again next time we’re in Istanbul!

Must Do!!! - Fantastic experience especially the percussion group at the end. The 70 min dance show was one of my biggest highlights in my Turkey vacation! Leave alone the crappy phosphorus night shows and come with your family to this decent yet authentic and fun dance show.

Turkish folk dancing - Really great way to spend an hour in Istanbul. If you’re interested in a fun excursion, showcasing different styles of Turkish folk dance as well as whirling Tures then I would highly recommend this show. It’s in the old town and close all the major tourist sites. It is only an hour and relatively inexpensive and the dancing is very interesting. I would highly recommend it as a cultural experience.

Some good some bad and way too loud - The music was way way too loud. Too many schlocky black light effects and one dance with strobe lights where I had to close my eyes as well as my ears. Also some dumb choreography. There were some dances that were based on traditional dances and those were more enjoyable. The drummers near the end were good but again way way too loud.
