Istanbul - Begin your Western Turkey adventure with a transfer to the airport. The driver will collect you from your hotel or Airbnb reception, provided parking is available. You will then be taken to the airport for your flight to Denizli.

Denizli Çardak Airport - Upon arrival at Denizli/Cardak airport, your tour guide and another driver will greet you at the exit gate of the arrival terminal to commence your tour of Pamukkale, Hierapolis, and Laodicea.

Pamukkale Thermal Pools - After exploring the Hierapolis Ancient City, enjoy 60-75 minutes of free time to discover Pamukkale’s natural beauty and swim in the white travertines - thermal pools (or Cleopatra’s pool for an additional fee). Rejoin your guide to walk barefoot through the travertines from top to bottom.

Cleopatra Pools - Above the Pamukkale white travertine pools lies a spectacular spot fed by the same hot springs. Here, you can bathe in the waters Cleopatra once enjoyed! A modern spa facility allows you to experience these historic healing waters. Unlike the white water of the lower pools, Cleopatra’s favored Antique Pool is clear and warm. Once topped by a Roman Temple to Apollo with a decorative roof supported by Doric columns, imagine Cleopatra’s experience in its heyday.

Pamukkale - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, included in today’s guided tour.

Karahayit - After lunch, participate in a traditional handicraft workshop to learn about Pamukkale’s special stones and metals.

Laodicea - Excavations have uncovered artifacts dating from 3500 BC (Late Chalcolithic) to 3000 BC (Early Bronze Age). Named by Seleucid king Antiochus II for his wife Laodike in the 3rd century BC, the city thrived under the kings of Pergamum and was later bequeathed to the Roman Empire, flourishing from the 4th to 6th centuries. It was one of the Seven Churches of Revelation.

Pamukkale Tandem Paragliding - Pamukkale Paragliding Adventure (Optional Attraction – Available for an additional cost): Experience Pamukkale’s stunning white travertine and ancient Hierapolis, including the grand theater, from above on this brief paragliding adventure with an experienced pilot. Launch from a slope about 1,300 feet (400 meters) high and glide over the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kusadasi - After your tour of Pamukkale Natural Park, Hierapolis Ancient City, and Laodicea Ancient City, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Kusadasi Castle - This charming Byzantine fortress stands on the causeway-connected Guvercin Adasi (Pigeon Island) and has recently been renovated. * This site is not included in the tour. You may visit it independently after being dropped off at your hotel in Kusadasi.

Okuz Mehmet Pasa KervansarayI - Built by Grand Vizier Okuz Mehmed Pasha to support maritime trade, this historical building is located opposite Kusadasi cruise port. * This site is not included in the tour. You may visit it independently after being dropped off at your hotel in Kusadasi.

Semi-Private Tour to Priene and Its Surroundings – Accommodation at Kusadasi

Kusadasi - After breakfast at your hotel, the tour guide will pick you up for a full-day tour of Priene and its surroundings.

Priene Antik Kenti - Originally located at the Maeander River’s mouth, Priene was rebuilt inland around 350 BC. The main temple, dedicated to Athena Polias, was consecrated by Alexander the Great in 334 BC. The city grew slowly over two centuries, prospered under Roman and Byzantine rule, but eventually declined.

Kusadasi - At the end of the tour, you will be returned to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Semi-Private Tour to Ephesus and Its Surroundings - Flight from Izmir to Istanbul – or Flight from Izmir to Cappadocia

Kuşadası - After breakfast at your hotel, the tour guide will pick you up around 09:00 AM for a full-day tour of Ephesus and its surroundings. * At the end of the tour, you will be directly transferred to Izmir Airport for your flight back to Istanbul (or a flight from Izmir to Cappadocia if you choose to extend your trip to Cappadocia. The flight ticket from Izmir to Cappadocia is included in the “Diamond Package” option). Please remember to check out of your hotel and collect your luggage before departing for the Ephesus tour.

Kusadasi Gazi Begendi Park - Before heading to the Ephesus area, stop at Gazi Begendi Park (Hill) to capture photos of the stunning Kusadasi Bay.

Ancient City of Ephesus - Your first stop is the Ephesus Ancient City, a significant harbor city in the ancient world and one of the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelations. Highlights include the Celsus Library and theater. Explore the Celcus Library, Temple of Hadrian, Fountain of Trajan, Odeon, Agora, Fountain of Domitian, Hercule Gate, Grand Theater, Nike, Ancient Toilets, and more during your tour.

Ephesus Experience Museum - The Ephesus Experience Museum offers an immersive journey into Turkey’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Ephesus Museum - This charming and well-organized museum features findings from ongoing excavations at the Ephesus archaeological site, as well as artifacts from the Cukurici Mound, the basilica of St John, and the Temple of Artemis.

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport - At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Izmir airport for your flight back to Istanbul (or to Kayseri if you choose to extend your trip to the Cappadocia district).

İstanbul - Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Cappadocia - If you wish to extend your trip to the Cappadocia district by flight, select the “Diamond Package” option. The flight ticket from Izmir to Cappadocia and transfer from Cappadocia airport to your hotel in the Cappadocia district are included. Note that the return flight ticket to Istanbul is not included if you choose this option.

• The package prices are valid for accommodation in double or triple rooms. If you would like to add single room accommodation to your booking, there may be an additional cost. However, there will be no extra charges for single/solo travelers, as they will already be accommodated in single rooms.
• For your accommodation in Kusadasi during this trip, the pre-planned hotels are “Efe Boutique Hotel” and “Charisma De Luxe Hotel.” When booking, you can select either one. If these hotels do not have availability for standard or superior rooms on your travel dates, the local tour operator may substitute them with equivalent hotels.
• If you would like to connect this trip to Cappadocia instead of return to Istanbul, this option is available to you. If you want to benefit from this opportunity, you have to book the option of “Gold Package”. After you prefered flight from Izmir to Cappadocia, there will not be right about return flight to Istanbul. Also, the arrival airport transfer will be provided by the local tour operator in Cappadocia.
• The local tour operator will email your e-tickets for domestic flights three days prior to your departure. You won’t need to print the tickets for domestic flights. Your passport and the reservation number on the tickets will be sufficient for check-in.
• The local tour operator may need some passport details to book your flight tickets. If you do not provide the requested information, your domestic flight tickets may not be booked.
• You are allowed 15kg luggage + 8kg cabin bag per person for each domestic flight(s). If you need more luggage capacity, please let the local tour operator know. Additional charges may apply for exceeding the 15 kg luggage limit.
• If your return hotel is different than pick-up hotel, please inform that detail immediately. If you inform that detail after organised your flight tickets, the local tour operator can request extra cost because of the distances between the airports and some hotels. If you inform this type changes on service day (last day of your trip), the local tour operator do not accept this last minute amending and drop you to your pick-up hotel.
• If your pick-up or drop-off hotels are located inside the IST or SAW airports, the local tour operator will not provide any hotel pick-up or drop-off services. This is about the traffic procedures of the airports.
