Situated in front of the Pacific Ocean, this location offers stunning views of the bay. It was the residence that the poet Pablo Neruda co-designed and lived in from 1939 to 1973. Visitors can explore the poet’s life and work in this house museum. The place is enchanting and magical. An audio guide narrates the stories of each room.

Situated in front of the Pacific Ocean, this location offers stunning views of the bay. It was the residence that the poet Pablo Neruda co-designed and lived in from 1939 to 1973. Visitors can explore the poet’s life and work in this house museum. The place is enchanting and magical. An audio guide narrates the stories of each room.
The journey begins early at 7:40 am to reach by 10:00 am, as entry is on a first-come, first-served basis and the site is popular among locals and schools. The drive follows Highway 78 towards the coast. The tour lasts about an hour, after which visitors can explore the bookstore, enjoy the views, and visit the beach where a sculpture of the Poet stands on a rock. Lunch can be enjoyed at the museum or in the village of Isla Negra (at the visitors’ expense), where one can also explore local crafts. The experience is designed for a minimum of two people per reservation, offering a private and personalized experience.
