A Journey to the Giants

The sun was just beginning to rise as I made my way to the Aqua Adventures Eco Divers shop on Isla Mujeres. The anticipation was palpable, not just within me, but among the small group of fellow adventurers gathered there. We were all eager to embark on a journey to swim alongside the majestic whale sharks and manta rays that grace these waters each summer. As a marine biologist, the opportunity to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat was a dream come true.
