Amazing trip! Great guide. Safe AND fun! - The morning started with an on-time pick up at my hotel and went to pick up the rest of the group to head to Kabira Bay for our SUP/Canoe trip. Aoi was our guide and he was great explaining the island, giving us quick rowing lessons and we were off! Great weather, tons of pictures, beautiful…then we were dropped off for lunch (which Aoi gave us tons of recommendations and even dropped me off to grab a self-make onigiri). After snorkeling at the Blue Cove was very busy but we saw so many fish, Aoi made sure we were together, safe, and took tons of pictures and videos. I had a great time at Ishigaki because of this tour. Thank you so much, Aoi!

Maravillosa experiencia - We had an excellent experience. Akari was very special, and we're very grateful. It's a shame we don't have much time. I'd like to stay all day. You took us to a wonderful place. A very special greeting to Akari, and my family sends her a big hug. Best regards.

Review for PiPi Stand-Up Paddle and Snorkelling Day Tour in Ishigaki - I recently joined a SUP and snorkelling day tour organized by PiPi, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Our coach, Akari (not sure if I caught her name right, I apologize), was incredibly gentle and friendly, making everyone feel at ease right from the start. She spoke good English, which made communication effortless. Karina Bay was simply stunning, with open and calm waters that were perfect for beginners. The scenery was breathtaking, and we had the chance to explore some lovely coral reefs while snorkeling. Akari was not only a great coach but also helped us capture the moments by taking photos and videos, allowing us to focus on enjoying the experience without worrying about our cameras. Thank you, PiPi and Akari, for an unforgettable day! For those considering this tour, here are some key details: • Tour Duration: All tours are half-day. A full-day tour consists of two half-day sessions, which means lunch is not included; you can eat wherever you like during the break. • SUP Options: Karina Bay (Beach) or Miyara River (Mangrove). • Snorkeling Options: Phantom Island (boat ride required) or Blue Cave. Phantom Island is popular, but other options are available for those prone to seasickness. We chose Karina Bay for SUP and Blue Cave for snorkeling, our experience: • Morning: Met at 9:00 AM at the pier, took a 30-minute ride to Karina Bay. Learnt the basics on the beach then paddle boarded for about an hour, returned to the pier and dismissed. • Afternoon: Regrouped at 1:30 PM, took another 30-minute ride to a beach on the North side. Snorkeling for about an hour or more. Drop off at our hotels or the pier at our convenience.

Great snorkeling trip. - The snorkelling is fantastic, the water is very clear, and the variety of fish, schools of fish, different sizes and colours, is amazing. The guide was very welcoming and introduced us to the local scene. It was a really great trip! Very recommended.

Snorkeling and SUP trip that was fun - My wife and I participated in the trip to Ishigaki. When I was snorkeling, when my wife couldn't swim well and it was hard, I was impressed by the staff who helped me a lot. The cafeteria for lunch that they recommended was also great. I will remember the cheerful atmosphere of the staff as they proceeded to Sup in the afternoon, especially the super bright energy. Thank you for your wife's birthday celebrations on the way home. I really recommend it.

It was a great day! - Morning Snorkeling In the afternoon, I joined a canoe tour. We went snorkeling, saw sea turtles, sea snakes, beautiful sea, fish and corals! She was the daughter of a novice snorkeler, but she was very supportive and I could enjoy it with peace of mind. Thank you very much. They taught us how to ride and row in a canoe in an easy-to-understand manner, and we were able to paddle 1.2.1.2 happily with parents and children. On the way back, it's a great memory of competing and aiming for the goal! They take nice videos and photos with their GoPros and send us data, which is really helpful because we don't need our own cameras. He told me a lot about recommended shops and places in the moving car, and I was able to go a lot. I love Ishigaki Island as a father and son. When you come to Ishigaki Island again, make sure to book with PiPi! Thank you very much.

SUP in Kawahira Bay - The Blue Cave could not be reached due to bad weather, but the SUP in Kawahira Bay had a great view! The staff were very friendly and enjoyed the whole at-home experience, and I was very happy to be photographed doing yoga without permission!

Good, but more time for activities preferred. - The tour is broken up into two halves. In the morning, our guides for SUP were Seiki and Hiro, both knowledgeable and attentive. In the afternoon, we had Susan and Seiki as our guides for blue cave snorkeling, both great & attentive. While both tours were good, they could have been better had more time been spent on the activities and free time incorporated. Both activities were group-paced, which didn't leave much time to enjoy the activity freely. The guides can assist, but not necessarily make the activity restrictive. In the morning, it was a bout a half hour ride to SUP for maybe an hour, then back to the meeting point for a return ride of half an hour. Then there was about a 2-hour break before the next activity. I’m assuming this is a break for the guides to have lunch, but it was not specified in the description, and it would have been helpful to know beforehand. Personally, could have done without it. Again, a half-hour ride for about an hour of snorkeling to return to our hotels, which was another half-hour ride. Therefore, we spent a total of 2 hours riding back for only about an hour of each activity. Depending on travelers intent would I suggest this tour.

Your experience can vary... - Your experience can vary depending on the weather and tide, so make sure you ask. The guides are fun and kind, they try hard with their English. They are also very helpful too.

sup experience 45 minutes blue cave - We were able to go on a sunny day, so the sea was very beautiful. I also experienced sup for the first time on Ogakijima, but it was a good experience because it is an activity that even beginners can improve quickly.
