Upon arrival at the Iquitos airport, or from your hotel at 8:00 a.m., the tour begins at Belen Market, where you can explore medicinal plants and Amazonian fish. You’ll also have the opportunity to taste anticucho de suri, a unique Amazonian delicacy.
From Bellavista Nanay, we navigate the Nanay and Amazon rivers, with opportunities to spot pink and gray dolphins. We then visit the Chullachaki Ecomuseum to learn about Amazonian cosmovision, the healing properties of Ayahuasca, and sample traditional beverages like the renowned “Levantar Pájaro Muerto.”
At Fundo Don Pedrito, observe paiches and caimans, learning about their conservation and role in the Amazon ecosystem.
