Incredible jungle experience! - I did the tour around july, but i'm late posting this because it wouldn't be fair not to share my incredible experience there, Iquitos is such an amazing place, since you're landing there to the lodge in the rainforest, everything is magical, Linder our tour guide has a lot of incredible knowledge that make the experience even better, his patience and all of his support make him an important part of the journey, thanks for everything pal!

Our best time in Amazon jungle - We loved our trip to Amazon jungle with Maniti Expedition. We were extremely lucky to get Linder as our main tour guide. He is really the best - very enthusiastic, with good English, with excellent communication skills. Linder is very knowledgeable about Amazon River, the jungle’s flora and fauna. We learned a lot. Thank you Linder, we adored every single moment. We also loved the food, they have a really good home style cooking, all ingredients are fresh and tasty. We recommend to stay at Maniti expedition eco lodge.

Amazon jungle experience - Our experience was wonderful. We had a great tour guide Piero, having lived in the jungle he was able to share with us everything he knew. The tour was very accommodating to our schedule and allowed us to maximize the short amount of time we had due to an early flight the second day. I recommend this to anyone traveling to Iquitos if they want a good view of life in the Amazon!

Brilliant introduction to the Amazon Basin - Just back to Iquitos after an incredible jungle tour with Maniti Eco Lodge. We decided on the 2 day tour as it was our first visit to Peru and the Rain Forest and we were worried about it being too overwhelming (plus we are in our mid fifties!) We needn't have worried from when Rene (our guide) picked us up from our hotel and said goodbye to us at the end of the tour, we were in safe hands. The walks were fascinating and not taxing at all. Rene took us on 2 daytime Jungle walk and 1 nighttime walk. His knowledge was absolutely incredible and so was his English. My husband was particularly fascinated with how the jungle can provide medicines for all sorts of ailments. He even ate live termites which are the best thing for Mosquito protection. (I didn't yuk!!) He also took us to see the Yahua tribe where we had a go at using a blow pipe, Monkey Island where I got to cuddle orphaned Monkeys and Piranha fishing. You can't go wrong with this team (especially if you are lucky enough to get Rene) Thanks Guys

Amazing time in the jungle - We had an amazing time. Friendly staff, beautiful experience in the jungle. Our guide Linder was very professional, knowledgeable and he showed us many many animals in the jungle. Very grateful for all his support.

❤️ The best experience ever ❤️ - This trip met all my expectations. As a solo traveler from the USA I was very comfortable at all times even during the pickup and drop off. Edwin was my tour guide for the group which had 3 other solo travelers. Edwin was the best. His energy and enthusiasm was always so positive. He is very knowledgeable about all the species and plants. The food was amazing and cooked fresh every meal. The adventures were everything I have dreamed of. Maniti definitely gives the most to the visitors. I will definitely be back for another adventure. I left my heart in the Amazon ❤️ Thank you for all your hospitality.

Brief Amazon Visit - The Maniti Lodge eco experience was enjoyable! Segundo, our guide, was doting, fun, and told jokes as we hiked. Javier was our fearless and friendly boat driver. The one recommendation and change that would have made the trip even better would have been if Segundo walked with us at the animal sanctuaries and provided translations to English. We also didn’t get to fish since another group was paired with us & the guide made a schedule based off their timeline. Overall, we would recommend Maniti!

Did the Amazon but didn’t get the full itinerary, missed some must-do’s 🙁 - Our once in a lifetime opportunity to visit the Amazon in Peru simply did not deliver. The Operators, the itinerary and the wonderful people serving in the Camp had the potential to be amazing, but our experience was sadly lacking. Day 1 - Pick up was punctual and well organized. Boat to the Camp was fun and a lovely feeling of being in remote wilderness. Camp food was amazing!!However the trip to Camp was only informative re the wildlife thanks to the guide from another company who was on the boat with us. We were supposed to visit Nanay markets - didn’t happen. The morning visit to Monkey Island didn’t happen until the afternoon. The afternoon dolphin watching - didn’t happen. The swim in the Amazon - didn’t happen. Day 2 - We went piranha fishing (which was supposed to happen on day 1) and it was awesome having our catch cooked and served up to us! However jungle hike to see giant celba trees - didn’t happen. The return boat journey, major luggage collection and drop off at airport all went well. Overall, we were casually shepherded here and there but there was very little sense of enthusiasm by Maniti in terms of what and how was delivered. We were left bitterly disappointed.
