Must visit - A fantastic experience, with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the various stops and to take in the breath taking views. Staff were friendly and accommodating, definitely a highlight of our trip to innsbruck

Dreamlike beautiful - We bought the 72 hours Innsbruck card. This is valid for all public transport. Also the Hungerburgbahn, the mountain railway to the Seegrube and the Habelekar and many admissions to museums even the Swarovski world in Wattens-simply recommended!!!

Magic in nature - An absolute marvel of modern engineering.
It should be the top item on the checklist of anyone visiting Innsbruck.
A gondola takes you to the first cable car and then the real adventure begins.
Take in the surrounding sights as you to get to the very top.
Don’t forget to hike the mini trail to the ultimate top which I missed as I was short on time.

Great excursion - First with the Hungerburgbahn and then two cable cars, then you are at the top of the Hafelekar and look up to the Karwendel Mountains. You can climb to the top, but only well equipped in winter. Halfway down the route, you can sit well outside in the sun at 1900m even in winter.

Top of Innsbruck - Excellent must do. Start early, go to the top and then work your way down stopping at cloud9 to just relax and enjoy the views. Do the short hike at the very top, just be careful. Book tickets online on day off as there is a 10% discounts offered.

Must-do in Innsbruck - Wow what an experience! As first time visitors coming from Australia, this was our first opportunity ever to see snow, and it did not disappoint. Some of the most beautiful views I will probably have in my life. From this perspective, it does not disappoint.
The only frustrating thing was having to queue so much to enter and exit the cable cars, and that every restaurant was full. I guess it is just that time of year though! Also, you have to scan your tickets frequently - every time you enter a cable car whether it’s up or down - I think I scanned them maybe 8 times, which for a family of four was a bit annoying. Oh well!
Even though this was a very expensive activity, it was worth it for us, as first time visitors to snow. We would do this again if we were returning for sure, though maybe we might try book a restaurant or seats for next time :)
If you are visiting Innsbruck for the first time I really think this is a ‘must-do’ activity.

Definitely worth it - just magical - Amazing experience, would highly recommend taking the cable car to the top. The views were magical.
We went around 2pm and stayed until the sun started setting (which made the experience even better in my opinion).
The cafe at the top is also worth visiting, the hot chocolate was a perfect choice to keep warm after enjoying the snow (it was great to have the sledges etc available to use for free).
We enjoyed the cable car, and it wasn't too busy, which allowed us to take in the views.
The tram however was busy, on the way up, so we took the bus back down on our return.
The snow was certainly an added bonus to get us into the Christmas spirit (we visited on 23rd December).

Great yet expensive - Easy access, short waiting time, wonderdul panoramic views at the top. The only downside: it is quite expensive to go to the top...
