Day 1: Jungle Trekking and Camping
08:30 AM: Departure from your accommodation in Bukit Lawang village.
08:50 AM: Orientation on the trekking itinerary and safety measures at our meeting point before entering the jungle.
09:00 AM: Enter Gunung Leuser National Park to commence trekking. Search for wild Sumatran orangutans, Thomas’s leaf monkeys, gibbons, and tropical birds. Your guide will share insights into the rainforest ecosystem, flora, and medicinal plants traditionally used by local communities.
Midday: Enjoy a refreshing break with fresh tropical fruits prepared by your guide deep in the jungle.
Continue trekking to your riverside campsite along the Bahorok River. Relax, swim, and immerse yourself in the tranquil rainforest ambiance. In the evening, savor a delicious traditional jungle dinner cooked over an open fire. Spend the night at the campsite beneath the jungle canopy.

Day 2: Morning Trek and River Tubing
Awaken to the sounds of the jungle and relish a freshly prepared breakfast. A brief morning trek provides further opportunities to observe wildlife.
Late morning, embark on an exhilarating river tubing adventure down the Bahorok River through breathtaking jungle landscapes. Return to Bukit Lawang between 01:00 and 02:00 PM.

All necessary National Park permits, camping gear, freshly prepared meals, drinking water, tropical fruits, and a river tubing return to the village are included. A highlight of the trek is spending a night at a riverside campsite deep within the jungle, waking up to the enchanting sounds of the rainforest.
