Unforgettable time in Java - Our Java experience started with a day at Jomblang Cave and Pindul Cave with Irhas, and it was so good that we decided to book a last-minute 3-day tour to Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen, with a detour through Jodipan. Irhas joined again as our guide and driver, alongside Juan, and we couldn't have asked for better company.
From the very first day, both of them looked after us and our belongings with remarkable care and attention. They answered every single one of our questions, from the most random to the most political, helping us better understand Indonesia's history, culture and language. We even picked up some Bahasa Indonesian along the way!
These 3 days were truly unforgettable. Irhas and Juan didn't just show us Java, they made us feel welcome in their country. Their kindness, patience and genuine warmth left a lasting impression on all six of us.
And of course, the volcanoes were breathtaking, and the Jodipan detour was absolutely worth it.
We cannot recommend a tour with them highly enough. Whoever gets to travel with Irhas and Juan will be just as lucky as we were.

Bromo ijen private tour! - We reached out to Journeast via their website and were blown away by the quality of the tour. The stunning landscapes of Bromo and Ijen made every early morning wake-up call worthwhile. The private nature of the trip allowed us complete flexibility with our time. Every detail was handled perfectly, including the skilled English-speaking driver and the efficient transfer to Denpasar. We highly recommend their services. The team is professional, responsive, and very helpful with client inquiries.

Best way to Bali with private tour and activities - We had an absolutely incredible experience with this 3-day private tour from Yogyakarta to Bali.
Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our driver was professional, punctual, and made us feel safe throughout the long drives.
The highlights were, of course, the sunrise at Mount Bromo and the mesmerizing blue flames of Ijen Crater. The views were breathtaking and worth every bit of the early wake-up calls!
What we appreciated most was the 'all-inclusive' nature of the tour; we didn't have to worry about entrance fees, transport, or finding hotels, which made the trip stress-free.
The local guides provided were knowledgeable and friendly, sharing great insights about the volcanoes and the surrounding culture. If you are looking for a seamless, comfortable, and adventurous way to travel from Yogyakarta to Bali while seeing Indonesia’s natural wonders, We highly recommend this private tour. It was the highlight of our holiday.

Amazing experience! - The tour is very nicely curated with great guides at every spot. The sunrise in Bromo was spectacular and Ijen nothing sort of amazing!
The accommodations selected are very convenient to support the rest of the logistics.
This pack is very convenient as it takes you to the different places, getting you closer to Bali - if that’s your next destination - and sorting you out through a one-stop shop.
Special kudos to Ekko, my master guide who was very patient, helpful , accommodating and great fun to travel with.

Perfect Private Tour: Everything Was Taken Care Of - Hands down the best way to travel from Java to Bali. Our guide and driver were professional, punctual, and made us feel safe throughout the long drives. Being an 'all-in' tour, we didn't have to worry about entrance fees or finding accommodations, everything was taken care of. The hikes are challenging but 100% worth it for the views. A huge thanks to Andi for making this trip so memorable!

Recommended and safe.. - After such a great experience on our first tour, we decided to book the 3 days Bromo and Ijen trip from Yogyakarta to Bali, and it was the best decision! Once again, our driver Hendra was absolutely excellent. Driving such a long distance can be tiring, but he made us feel safe and comfortable the entire way. The sunrise at Bromo was breathtaking, and the blue flames at Ijen were like nothing we’ve ever seen. Everything from the accommodation to the ferry transfer to Bali was handled perfectly. If you're planning this route, definitely ask for Hendra, he’s a legend!

no doubt, go book with journeast - We are a couple and booking a tour with Journeast was absolutely worth it. The entire experience was completely private—just me on the schedule with dedicated transport included. I was even able to add Madakaripura Waterfall to the itinerary before checking into my hotel in Bromo, a level of flexibility you just don't get with shared tours. Huge thanks to Ekko and the Journeast Indonesia team!

Java Bromo Ijen - I recently booked a private Bromo-Ijen tour with Journeast Indonesia, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Family private trip to Bromo and Ijen from Yogyakarta - I recently booked a 3-day private tour to Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater with Journeast Indonesia, and it was truly an impeccable experience.

It was worth every penny—from the good-quality hotels and accommodations and delicious meals to the seamless logistics. Our guide was phenomenal, with impeccable English skills that made communication effortless and insightful.

Private and affordable.. - We originally planned for a shared tour but decided to book a private one because we were exhausted from our trip from Jakarta to Yogyakarta. We wanted a more relaxed pace where we could set our own rhythm.
Indra was very helpful and friendly during the booking process. Our guide, Juan, was also very knowledgeable about the local culture and history. Bromo was stunning, though very cold! Since there’s a lot of driving involved, the comfortable car and good AC made it easy to catch up on sleep. We also booked our hotel transfer to Ubud through Journeast on the last day. We felt safe throughout the entire journey. Highly recommended!
