The tour proceeds to Srirangapatna, a rocky island shaped by the Cauvery River. Srirangapatna gained significance during the era of Hyder Ali and his renowned son Tipu Sultan, who transformed it into a fortified city. It was a major power hub in South India until Tipu Sultan was defeated in the final of four battles against the British East India Company.
Following the city tour, the journey continues to Brindavan Gardens. Renowned for its symmetrical design and illuminated terrace gardens, it was designed by Sir Mirza Ismail, the then Diwan of Mysore state. He was the visionary behind its planning and design. Spanning over 60 acres, the gardens are arranged in three terraces, culminating in a horseshoe shape.
