Hwaseong Fortress - A prime example of Korean traditional architecture, designated as a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO. If available on the day of your visit, we will take a mini train to explore the fortress.

Jeonju - A key tourist destination known for its Korean cuisine and historic traditional buildings. In May 2012, Jeonju was named a Creative City for Gastronomy by UNESCO, recognizing its traditional home cooking passed down through generations, active food research, talented chefs, and unique local food festivals.

Hanji Museum - Korea’s first museum specializing in traditional mulberry paper, with a collection of 3,000 artifacts and a database documenting the history and quality of Hanji. You can also participate in a DIY experience to make Korean paper with wooden tools and take it home.

Jeonju Hanok Village - The largest Korean village with various traditional cultural facilities in the downtown area.

Gyeonggijeon Shrine - The symbol of Jeonju’s Korean-style village, especially beautiful in autumn. The surrounding landscape is often used as a backdrop for historical dramas and movies.

Yongdusan Park - Named because the mountain resembles a dragon’s head emerging from the sea.

Busan Tower - A 120-meter tower offering a stunning bird’s-eye view of Busan, including islands and ships in the distant seas.

Jagalchi Market - The largest fish market in Korea and a popular tourist site in Busan. Located beside Nampo Port, the market ensures fresh fish delivered quickly.

Nampo-dong Dried Fish Wholesale Market - One of Korea’s largest markets, with crowded alleyways connecting to Bupyeong Market, Kkangtong Market, and other smaller markets. It stocks a wide variety of goods.

Busan Gamcheon Culture Village - Known as the “Machu Picchu of Busan,” this village features houses built in a staircase fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain. The alleys are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures by residents.

Bulguksa Temple - Also known as “The Buddhist Country Temple.”

Seokguram - Hermitage, Bulguksa Temple was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.

Daereungwon Tomb Complex - Also known as Tumuli Park, it has more than 20 large and small tombs from the Silla Period.

Cheomseongdae Observatory - Constructed as the lunar calendar, Tumuli park exhibits the Royal tombs.

Seoraksan National Park - Seoraksan Mountain is one of Korea’s most famous tourist destinations, stretching across several areas including Sokcho, Goseong, Inje, and Yangyang in Gangwon-do. It was designated Korea’s fifth national park in 1970 and Korea’s first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1982. It is also registered in the IUCN Green List of Protected and Conserved Areas.

Seoraksan National Park - With its highest point, Daecheongbong Peak, at 1,708 meters, Seoraksan Mountain is one of Korea’s most beautiful mountains. It boasts colorful flowers in spring, clear water streams in summer, vibrant autumn foliage, and a scenic snow-covered landscape in winter. The mountain’s changing colors guarantee a picturesque landscape year-round.

Gwongeumseong Fortress - Located past the Biryonggyo Bridge over the ravine, the path to Gwongeumseong Castle takes over an hour through a steep, rocky path (2.5km), so a cable car is used. Installed by Dr. Gi-Sup Lee in 1971, the cable car runs from 7 a.m. to 6 or 6:30 p.m., departing every 7 minutes. Round-trip tickets can only be purchased at the ticket counter for that day.

Seoraksan Sinheungsa Temple - A short 10-minute walk from the entrance to Sogongwon, Sinheungsa is a temple originally called Hyangseongsa, built by Jajangyulsa (590~658) during Queen Jindeok’s reign. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times.

Gyeongbokgung Palace - Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also known as the Northern Palace because it is the furthest north compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace). It is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all five palaces.

Deoksugung - The reenactment of the original ceremony began in 1996. The gate guardsmen perform the changing of the guards and hold a parade. Their uniforms, weapons, and accessories, along with their strict ceremonial procedures, attract the attention of passersby, especially foreign tourists. The change of the guards ceremony is a great opportunity to experience traditional events in a big city like Seoul. It takes place every day except Tuesday.

Bukchon Hanok Village - Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, dating back to the Joseon Dynasty. The name Bukchon, meaning “northern village,” comes from its location north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants, and tea houses, offering visitors a chance to experience traditional Korean culture. Visitors are advised to be respectful as Bukchon Hanok Village is an actual neighborhood with residents.

Museum Kimchikan - Learn how to make traditional napa cabbage kimchi with easy-to-follow instructions and step-by-step photos. You’ll find it surprisingly easy to make delicious kimchi at home.

Hanbok Cafe - Enjoy taking photos while wearing traditional Hanbok costumes.

Namdaemun Market - The largest and oldest wholesale market in Korea, where you can find practically everything at affordable prices.

Seoul ⇌ DMZ

DMZ - The highlight of today’s tour is the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).
*Note: Must bring passport for ID check.

Located on each side of the 38th parallel, this infamous border was established at the end of the war in 1953 at the signing of Panmunjom’s armistice to separate North and South Korea.

Upon arrival, proceed to passport security control followed by a short introduction at the United Nations’ camp.

Visit Dora Observatory and Dorasan Railway Station. Discover Imjingak Park with the Memorial, the Liberty Bridge, and the Bell of Unification. Late morning, visit the 3rd tunnel dug into the rock at a depth of 73m, capable of moving a full division per hour with their weapons.

Incheon International Airport - After breakfast, enjoy last-minute shopping near the hotel in one of Seoul’s main shopping and tourism districts.
