The total duration of the trip is approximately five hours. We return to the shop between 15 - 16:00.
We will gear you up for the Arctic fishing adventure at Xwander Nordic. We will also provide you with overalls and boots if needed.
Ice Fishing:
Experience ice drilling and fishing in the traditional Arctic style. Learn the techniques used by the locals to catch fish even in the coldest temperatures.
Winter Nets:
Next we will check the submerged nets and discover the species native to Lapland, including White Fish, Pike, Perch or Burbot. A hands-on experience that brings you closer to the Arctic marine life.
Fish Preparation:
Participate in preparing the catch while receiving an informative biology lesson about the local fish species.
Making Delicious Fish Soup:
Conclude the day by learning how to make a traditional Arctic fish soup in a Lappish Tipi Tent. Enjoy the warm, flavorful dish made from the fresh catch of the day!
