Incredible Private Tour - I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone! Myself and a friend booked this tour, and it exceeded our expectations. Of course, the sights that we were shown were incredible. However, what made the tour was our guide, Pradeep. Immediately upon pick up he began sharing information about Bangalore and surrounding areas on our drive. He is incredibly knowledgable, and I don’t think he was stumped by a single question we asked. Pradeep kept an eye out for extra opportunities to make the tour special (such as seeing monkeys and elephants), and stopping at extra shops and coffee places. Our driver was patient and excellent at navigating the city traffic comfortably. Pradeep also went out of his way to arrange for us to join a different tour of his the following day, after hearing about some additional sights we wanted to see. The cherry on top was Pradeeps dad jokes and puns - we were kept laughing all day!

Mysore in a day - This was a fantastic trip and a way to see major archeological sites in one day. It is a long day but worth it.

Amazing historical and modern sights of Mysuru - Deena and Sanjana were fantastic hosts. Started the day with a traditional breakfast, followed by a trip to a cotton farm and local market. The highlight of the tour was Mysore palace, which is a sight for sore eyes. The palace is a mix of European, Hindu and Islamic architectural styles and the artwork was completed by 15 top European artists at the time. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Excellent and uniquely planned day trip out! - Praveen was a fantastic guide during our daytrip out of Bangalore - he is extremely knowledgeable about the culture and history, and was able to answer just about any question posed to him. Clearly, a lot of thought and planning went into the tour, as things went exceedingly smoothly, and we also got to see some fascinating sights that other tours to Mysore don't normally go to (silk cocoon auction, Somanathapura Temple). Plus, you also get to try some tasty local food during breakfast and lunch with someone who knows what to order! Perhaps my only feedback would be that the time at Devaraja Market was a little quick, and not so many pictures are needed :D But as a whole, I would definitely recommend going on this tour with Hidden Gems!

An exceptional experience and operator - We had a completely successful day trip to Mysore, which I can recommend to anyone who wants to explore the area’s most important spots. Our trip began with a visit to a cozy restaurant where we enjoyed traditional local dishes. On our way, we stopped at a silk cocoon market, which gave us insight into the lives of the local farmers. Next, we visited the 13th-century UNESCO Temple at Somnathpur, which had incredible sculptures and carvings unlike anything we had seen before. This was followed by a visit to the gorgeous Mysore Palace and a nearby bazaar filled with delightful colors, fragrances, and general clamor. We then had lunch at a charming riverside restaurant, followed by a visit to the summer palace of Tipu Sultan, with its expansive gardens and war frescoes. I would particularly like to highlight our tour guide, Praveen. His technical knowledge was impressive, and he was always approachable and clear. Rarely have I experienced such a warm and competent guide. The tour was very well organized, and everything went smoothly. We would do it again anytime and will remember this day for a long time.

Great trips all round - We toured with Pradeep in Bangalore and then Mysore. Everything was very smooth, we felt well looked after and Pradeep is extremely knowledgeable as well as being charming and funny. Our driver was also excellent. Communications with Praveen were also very good. We visited some interesting spots, with the Bangalore market and Somanathapura temple being highlights. Could not recommend this company highly enough.

An absolute must - don’t hesitate, just book! - This was undoubtedly one of the best tours I have ever experienced. Our guide was exceptional, picking us up from our hotel in Bangalore and spending about 12 hours with us. His vast knowledge of the places we visited, as well as Bangalore and India from a lifetime of living here, and his engaging personality made the tour incredibly enjoyable. Thanks to him, we explored many areas we would have missed on our own. The day was well planned and everything was perfectly organized, from skipping the queues at Mysore Palace to enjoying traditional breakfast and lunch, and visiting the Kesheva Temple in Somnathpur and Srirangapatna. I cannot emphasize enough how outstanding this tour was and how fantastic our guide was. I highly recommend setting aside a day for this tour!

Fantastic experience - The tour was wonderful. Our guide Pradeep was attentive, friendly and very punctual. He explained everything to us in great detail and with passion. He also took us to restaurants that had a special charm, the food was delicious, especially the breakfast. Despite the crazy traffic in Bangalore, we felt very safe with our driver.
